[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my old 12-13 yr old LG washer and drying for new ones about 1 month ago. The old washer was starting to have issues. The new dryer works well, clothes are usually dry the first cycle. Some clothes take longer to dry than others.

I bought this dryer a few weeks ago, and now that I figured out how to use it, I love it! This ultra-large capacity dryer accompanies our older large capacity washer. At first, the automatic dryness settings were leaving clothes damp, because my wash loads were too small for the dryer's sensor to accurately measure moisture levels. Now for small loads, I use the timed dry setting, where I set the heat level, drying time, and wrinkle guard. It works really well; I just had to relearn how much time it takes to dry fabrics. Sometimes I combine two wash loads into one dryer load. Then there are enough clothes for the moisture sensor to accurately detect dampness, and the clothes come out perfectly dry. I love how quietly this dryer runs. At first I thought I wouldn't like the singing tones, but actually I find them cheerful, and I feel like I'm having a conversation with my dryer whenever they play. The song at the end is a major improvement on the loud BUZZ! that was our old dryer's signal of completion.

I love my LG set. The dryer is quiet snd I really like that it knows when everything is dry and stops automatically. With my previous dryer the clothes would never be completely dry snd I would have to run it again. Love the little song when it’s done. All around I love it!!

When we got tired of pouring maintenance money into it, our appliance service person recommended the LG brand. We decided to go with the one that had a lower amount of the fancy electronic additions to it. We absolutely love how quiet it is, and how many drying options there are. We're still getting used to the differences between it and our previous dryer; but so far after 30 days we are really happy with it, and glad we chose this model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been a long time LG customer. Really enjoy the sensor that alerted me to an airflow issue with my exhaust. Went and found there was a blockage so very happy for the alert. On the downside, the dryness sensor is a little premature as the socks are always still just a little damp.

We purchased our LG dryer 3 weeks ago. It seems much more efficient than our last dryer and more sturdy. The install was seamless with a lot of care taken by the installer. We are very pleased with the results of a shorter dry time and less wrinkling.
