When I got this and ran it through and all was dry before the timer even beeped, I was stunned! This dryer is very efficient. I love it!

I chose this model, based on other reviews, and because I really liked a lot of the features. I liked the simple design of the control panel, mainly because there are less complicated items which could need repair. I love how quietly it runs. I was a bit concerned when I saw how long the run cycle was displayed, but it adjusts for the size of your load and has never taken that long. I like the design of the rubber seal because it’s easy to wipe dry after each use. My last washer’s seal was very difficult to wipe dry. I haven’t cleaned out the drain, as of yet. I’m a little worried to do that, seeing how some other reviewers had problems with that. I’ll write an update when I do clean it. I’m really happy with this purchase!

Still ran good after 14 years, or so I thought. Fired this new one up the day it was installed and I guess the old one was wearing out because this baby did the same job 10-20 minutes faster! So simple to use, too. I only need it to dry, not call my phone or text me, or anything like that. And, it's so much quieter!

The other one worked well for many years, and I got another to replace it a few weeks ago. This was top rated by consumer reports, and that also led to my decision to buy another one again.

Bought this dryer brand new, and in 11 months it broke. LG at least honored the warranty and sent out a repair man. The dryer is "fixed", but it now makes an annoying noise when it runs. Which, it definitely DID NOT make before. I imagine the dryer will work another month when it breaks again, but at that point it will be out of Warranty and not LG's problem.

I like the presets but also like having the manual option for smaller or special loads. We bought both the washer and the dryer as well as the storage units and are very pleased with all of them.
