We have no problem with the unit itself, only the delivery and installation process was frustrating. The dryer exhaust is in the rear and we needed to relocate it to the side to fit into our condo space. No one mentioned this as the store. The one feature I would have liked is the ability to air-dry delicate items, swimsuits, etc.

This tops the list for both. I love the speed wash option on this. It washes clean everytime. I’m so happy with LG that I’ve recommended it for my parents who just moved to a new home.

The LG appliance is the perfect thing for me it is quiet it’s efficient and does an extremely good job of cleaning and drying the clothes

Outstanding piece of technology. Super efficient washing and drying both with low levels of nose. The one negative is the user friendliness of the app. The app gives access to a range of online programs but: 1/ The do not include the standard manual options available on the machine- why? 2/ To access the options one needs to remember to click on the down site next to the word NORMAL- again why? Please upgrade the app interface.

Would love a little more control of dryer temps (washer allows more control). a little fussy setting up the Wi-Fi connection to the app, however it is entirely necessary for full functionality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are so happy that we purchased this LG washer/dryer appliance to replace a 5+ year old leaky and very noisy competitor's stacked washer and dryer. We had repair folks out 3 times but they could not solve the common problem issue so we decided to replace the units rather than dump more money which might not result in an acceptable solution. The washer is very quiet and the clothes are almost dry after the spin cycle. The dryer is also very quiet and the clothes dry quickly.

Our laundry room is 6 feet by 6 feet and it was not designed for a short person. Our old side by side washer and dryer combination was 32 inches deep and 38 inches tall. The built-in cabinets were above the washer and dryer and 14 inches deep. That meant my wife had to stretch over the edge of the appliances to get to the cabinet and she could barely reach the bottom shelf. Add to that, the drum on the washer was deep; she had use a gripper to reach the clothes to pull them out. Then we saw a store display of the LG Washtower. That changed the game. We spent a few weeks researching the units and taking measurements to make sure we could fit it in the space we had. It looked good on paper so we decided to buy the unit. I removed the old washer and dryer and tore out all the original cabinets. We patched up the walls and added a fresh coat of paint. To brighten the area, I mounted an LED ceiling light. We bought a freestanding storage cabinet that doubled our shelf space and it was all accessible without stretching. Delivery day went very smooth, the installers were great. They made sure everything was working and all the hookups fit. I finished up by bolting the cabinet to the wall and then we ran our start up test of the Washtower. The center control panel worked well, easy to read and set up both the washer and dryer. What can I say, it was easy to load and my wife is happy. There was no stretching or reaching to load the washer. Detergent and softener trays are easy to fill. Both units operate quietly and with shorter cycles than our old units. After three weeks we are very pleased with our purchase and would recommend it to anyone who needs a new washer and dryer. Plus, they look good. Thank you LG.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the LG Washtower to replace a 15 year old stacked LG washer and dryer that were still working but were getting progressively noisier. We couldn’t be happier. The Washtower is quiet, fast and nearly vibration free. The ThinQ app makes it very easy to select the appropriate wash and dry cycles. The steam function on the washer and dryer is a great feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this set 3 months ago and regret the purchase. Heavily soiled loads take 2 1/2 hours to wash. Controls are preset, so you have to use their app to program any other options such as dry for 10 minutes. The dryer seal isn’t tight and condensation drips out of the front throughout the cycle. The chimes are lengthy and annoying and can’t be changed, only turned off.

Be sure to use High Efficiency HE detergent. Brochure is very well written and instructions easy to follow - I was worried about getting new machine that I wouldn’t be able to operate but no worries there.
