[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit replaced a 16 year old washer and a 21 year old dryer - so it is a vast improvement. I live in a condo, and the washer and dryer are in the passage from the unit to the garage, so there is limited space. The old washer and dryer fit side-by-side, but the space is so shallow that any new side-by-side options would block the exit door, so stacking was the only option. My neighbors with the same floor plan have stacked LG washer/dryers. I love that this unit is pre-stacked and the controls are in the center. It washes and dries much more efficiently than my old models. The only downside is that when the dryer door is open, the latch is just about eye level - and I have to get around the door to carry laundry in. An automatic retractible latch would be a great safety feature!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This combo washing machine is a wish come true for me as a washer/dryer stacking unit.  I have wanted a stacking combo for a long time, but with dryer controls clear at the top it didn't impress me as I would need a stool to reach them.  Now that the controls are in the middle my wish did come true.  Washing our clothes is actually an enjoyable experience. The stacking combo machine also takes up much less space, and left our small wash room/utility room a lot of space to install a nice cabinet to hold all my laundry items, plus additional items from my kitchen. In all ways this machine is a win win situation. I truly love it.

I knew we needed another set as the washer and dryer we have were nearly 15 years old and frankly the front load washer was all rusty on the bottom and stinky. Thing leaked from the day we bought it. I was hesitant to do another front load, but our laundry room is set up to stack and loved that this unit was all in one. I do the maintenance it says to do, so I fully expect to get 15 years out of this one too!

This space saving, quiet, efficient washer and dryer is the best unit I’ve ever purchased! It’s amazing to get excited about doing laundry! I use the delicate cycle and love the options of more or less on the type of spin options offered. The bedding setting is also great at handling a king size blanket and almost wringing it dry so dying time is reduced.

The energy efficiency is unreal and the wash and dry are smooth, quiet, and incredibly easy to use. I have recommended to all of my family and friends! This product is a must, and I will be returning to LG for my appliance needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife can now reach the controls on the dryer which used to be at the top of the stacked dryer. Great combination design and while it took a little doing to set up, I find the text letting me know the load is done rather handy. The last model we had from a different manufacturer lasted 17 years. I’m hoping this combo unit approaches that longevity. I’m very happy with the first few loads’ cleanliness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a few weeks ago to replace our 10+ year old GE front loaders. I cannot believe how much cleaner and softer our clothes smell and feel. We knew our prior were worn out, but had no idea the difference 10 years of technology makes!! Yet another LG product that we love. Slowly replacing the appliances that were left in our home with LG products. Have never been as happy as we have with LG.
