Fantastic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this gas dryer! It dries quickly, efficiently, and my clothes, towels, and sheets come out great! It’s not very noisy, and it dries everything thoroughly in one round through. Even with bedding, it’s amazing!! Thank you!

Great Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this dryer (gas) and I just love how fast it dries my clothes and all the settings, including the Clean the filter light. Wish I had bought the matching washing machine at the same time, Maybe real soon, :o)

Just enough options!

When my 8 year old dryer needed repairs again I decided to bite the bullet and buy new. As I already owned an LG washer I am super happy with LG was my first choice. I also wanted a basic model. No steam. This model ticked all the boxes. It's roomy, quiet has enough choices for my families needs. I was able to have it in 10 days. Easy to hook up. So far it's perfect. Now hoping my energy bill.is lower too. Highly recommend.

Great dryer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having issues with a different name brand dryer we purchased the LG DLG7001 (gas) dryer. This dryer handles both small and large loads great. You are able to complete your laundry chores in substantially less time than with the previous dryer we had. I’m extremely happy with the quality and performance of this dryer!

Great for bulky items

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG gas dryer is the workhouse I needed for bedding, small area rugs, and other bulky items. I have the matching washer and they make a great set. The capacity is rated at 7.3 cubic feet and it fits those bulky comforters and bedding with ease. I like the auto dry sensor that prevents excessive drying, when it detects no or minimal moisture it just shuts itself off. There are plenty of settings and the unit runs smooth and quiet. I went with the gas version for more efficient energy usage. I would not hesitate to recommend this dryer.

Great features and very quite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only had my new washer and dryer for a few weeks but I just love them. I also bought a LG dishwasher four years ago and that is also whisper quite. My old units were on there last legs and these were definitely a great upgrade. I highly recommend LG for replacements appliances!

LG Dryer Exceeds Greatest Expectations!

I love my new LG Dryer! Everything comes out beautiful and wrinkle free! With my old dryer, I had to hang my jeans, tee shirts, and all of my delicates for fear of shrinkage. Now everything goes into the dryer, and comes out looking new! My life has gotten so much easier, and I couldn't be happier with my new LG Dryer! I highly recommend this dryer!

Most features I wanted in a dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My original dryer quit working so had to get a replacement. I loved my other dryer, so am comparing it to that, even though I knew I would not get the same features because of the age of the dryer. I am getting use to the new dryer, but I am not fond of the Sensor Dry Technology, because my clothes to not get dry enough (Permanent Press cycle) when the dryer shuts off. Because of this, I basically use the Manual Dry and it work very good. I am getting use to the other settings, and most happy that I got the Air Dry cycle because I used it all the time with my old dryer. I hang a lot of clothes, so use this function with a dryer sheet to fluff up my clothes and they come out just like they were dried in a dryer. Another feature that is missing, is that it does not have a loud buzzer to let me know when clothes are done. My dryer is in the basement, and this would be very helpful. I know in time, I will get use to the features and will love the dryer. I know LG is a very good product, and that is why I bought it.

Could have been a 5

I bought the dryer on the 16th of May and used it for the first time today on May 31st. I live in the country so I needed to change my new gas dryer over to propane and you have to go online and find someplace that sells the part because you can not buy this part at the store where you purchase the dryer then find someone to install this tiny 2 inch part that you have to disassemble the entire dryer to cuz it's in the front of the dryer. (a access door would be a nice feature) why doesn't anyone just make a propane dryer all ready to go? So the feature I like is the less wrinkles feature and the disliked feature is it's a dark colored drum inside and no light.

Don't buy. Sensors don't dry fully.

The Sam's Club service was good, but the dryer itself turned out to be a very bad guy. The sensors on this don't work well and the clothes are left down after the first cycle and I have to read run the dryer to get the clothes to be really dry. I don't recommend buying this product.

reply from LG Digital Customer Care

Hi, there. Thanks for sharing your experience with your LG Dryer (DLG7001W) model. We understand the importance of having a dryer that senses moisture accurately. One helpful step you can try is to clean the moisture sensor bars inside the drum using a soft cloth and a bit of warm water. Fabric softener sheets can leave an invisible coating on the sensors, causing the dryer to think the clothes are already dry and end the cycle too early. You can also review drying‑performance guidance.
