We had them for 20 years and we only replaced them because we wanted a stackable unit. The LG tower is not only beautiful, It is super quiet, easy to operate and little to no vibration even with a large load.

After almost 1 month, our new LG Tower system has proven to be worth the investment while fitting our small(er) space lifestyle. Ease of use and great smelling clothes are just a few of the benefits the LG Tower offers. When you combine the physical aspect of the wash tower with the virtual monitoring through the LG app, you quickly realize that LG makes life simpler yet reliable in our fast-paced world.

The electrical cord is only about 4 ft, so I did need to purchase another cord as my outlet is closer to the floor. This is deeper than I was planning on, but it looks so great the fact that it takes up more space is not a problem. There is an odor inside the drums, but it went away after a few loads and I didn’t notice anything on the clothes. Huge capacity! I haven’t washed bedding yet, but it looks like a comforter should fit easily. Spin cycle gets the clothes so dry I didn’t think the first load actually was washed. Noise level is what I would expect. The musical tone when the load is done is pleasant compared to a buzzer. So far I am very happy with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washer and dryer work as expected. Main gripe is the dumb vibration sensor that seems to be integral to it working. The only reason I didn't knock it down further is because I have a 5 year repair warranty, but still, a less than 1 year old washer shouldn't stop working just because of a dumb sensor when the washer itself is mechanically perfect. Never been able to use the app features because it seems to hate wi-fi mesh systems so I gave up on that also. I did try turning off the 5Ghz signal and retrying, but nothing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this installed 3 weeks ago and are happy with the washer and dryer size. We needed a unit for a small space and this one delivers. Its sleek design and very quiet during operation made it a good choice for us.It is a new design(both washer and dryer are connected into one unit) so am little worried about future maintenance for example if dryer goes does that mean replace whole unit?

And the spin feature is so good , the clothes are almost dry when they are removed. And the care the clothes get by tumbling to wash , means there is very little lint in the filter in the dryer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a small area that this unit fits right in and looks beautiful! it's not loud and cleans clothes very nicely! When the cycle is done and the light turns on its nice to see inside incase a lost sock gets left behind! I would recommend to someone that doesnt mind having to lift your clothes from bottom to top dryer, its nice that the doors stay open if you open them... i love the song it plays when it's done too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit replaces a unit purchased in 2013. The prior unit was a top load but with smaller capacity. The LG unit is quieter and seems to wash and dry better. The front load washer requires more maintenance and requires one to reach down to unload. It appears to be very sturdy and has a 10 year drive warranty, hopefully it will give better longevity than the previous one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gotta say Lg really put a lot of thought in the Washtower this product is awesome.Very easy to setup everything and very easy to setup the app and it will let you see everything from the app even power them on and off and a lot of other features they are super quiet and I would definitely recommend this to family and friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an apartment dweller, space is at a premium. I wanted to replace an existing W/D tower that had a top loading washer with a smaller capacity. The LG fit in the same footprint and volume of space but has more washing and drying capacity. I like the front loader washer better since it uses less water and is quieter. The digital controls are easy to see and use. The default settings are a time saver. The one bad feature is that the washer requires its own 110 power source.
