[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hamstrung by our new house's lack of a dryer vent in the laundry room, and small floor space, we were very limited on what type of washer/dryer combo was an option. I would rate the washing machine a 4.5. It does a good job of cleaning in a relatively short amount of time. The Dryer is a complete disappointment. 1. The drying time is inordinately long, sometimes up to two hours for a load of towels 2. You cannot dry sheets in the unit without them rolling up into a sausage. Not even a top and bottom sheet. I have to go every 15 minutes and separate the sheets, reload them into the dryer, set it again....repeat. 3. There is no cooldown function, nowhere to vent the heat, so EVERYTHING comes out wrinkled. Incomprehensible that the engineers didn’t think about how important cool down is with today’s fabrics. 4. Even the lightest load, or smallest load, takes over an hour to dry. 5. Can't fluff, can't air dry 6. Heat controls are pretty much useless, leading to frequent shrinkage. 7. Much higher priced than any other brand, I was expecting more.

I have had the washtower for almost a year. The washer is great but I am not happy with the dryer at all. I have to dry the cloths for at least two dryer cycles before they are dry. I called for service and he tells me that maybe the vent is clogged because the dryer is working…….. all brand new vents so that is not the answer. Very unhappy with the money we spent and now it is not efficient. I would not purchase this set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the tower 1 month ago. My clothes are come out much better than before (I had an old agitator machine). I love the wifi connectivity through ThinQ. Great looks. Easy access to controls as the dryer controls are reachable and not 6 feet above ground!

Purchased 7/2021 and has been trouble free. Several issues I have are with electronic controls. 1. when wash completes the well drained items are STUCK to the drum, a simple end of cycle tumble for several minutes would leave all items available at bottom of drum instead of having to extricate much from sides. 2. Ease of wash/dry modifications is wack-o you can choose some programs, but they are not completely tailorable to my needs and often lock out areas (Hot, Cold, Spin, Temp etc.) outside of pre-sets. You must find your way through download-able menus that also have odd limits to tailoring a desired wash or dry. Likely program written by non users. Wifi unstable and frustrating to reenable after disrupted.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the new washer tower and had the store set it up. I have always trusted LG products. And I reviewed the product online for pros and cons. When it was delivered the person went to push it into place and sparks came out the back and a fire melted the plastics on the back. I have just received another wash tower and had it installed. Seems to be fine. I however am still a little nervous. The store was great in taking care of the unite and luckily there wasn’t any damage to my house ( little water on the floor from putting out the flames). I just think buyers should treat these appliances with respect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the Thin Q washer / Dryer stacked unit. Easy to use controls located between the two units for easy access. Less cycle time on both washer and dryer than our previous models. WIFI notification of cycle being completed is a cool feature.

I love this machine with the exception that most of the wash cycles are in the Cloud and the app is designed by engineers not users. The cycles are hidden in some submenu. "Wash Cycles" should be a clear link on the first screen you see when you push on the tower. If some condition(s) like "Power on the washer" etc. must be met when you select "Wash Cycles" a pop-up should tell you. what to do,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and love everything about it except it scratches so easily. Whatever coating is on the outside of this machine is horrible. My first machine I returned because it was scratched. The replacement, I just went to clean soap with a microfiber towel, and it scratched it. If your washer/dryer is visible this is not the one you want.

The home we purchased had a GE one piece washer dryer unit when we moved in. When the washer broke, I was on a mission to find full size front loaders to stack in the existing space. I was debating between Maytag and Whirlpool but having a hard time finding anything in stock. My husband and I were in Lowe’s and saw this and fell in love. It was so new to Lowe’s that they did not have it in their computer yet. Fortunately they were able to deliver it the following day. I had a mountain of laundry waiting to put it to the test! I love it! I have not connected to WiFi as I don’t see a need to be able to start it remotely. If I am home to put the clothes in the washer, I can turn on the machine!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer/dryer combo was the perfect addition to my historic loft condo with its small space for a washer/dryer. The old one was just that; old. The new one makes me love doing my laundry. It is quiet, quick and efficient with lots of options to work with. The front loading doors are the perfect size and the controls are center located electronic "buttons". The lights in both are enough to show you missing articles. I am Goldilocks in the bears laundry room with this appliance!
