This unit uses less space than our previous side by side washer and dryer. It cleans better as well. It looks better in the laundry room space. I am looking forward to our electricity bill to see if it is more efficient than our previous side by side.

So we thought until we bought this LG unit! I haven’t done a scientific experiment to deduce this claim but here goes…Our laundry is cleaner, smells, better, less wrinkles, and more sanitary! I agree, it makes no sense why this is but it is! We use the same water, the same detergent and softener everything is the same except for the machine! It has to be that our old machine was just tired and I guess, smelly! Kind of like us when we age? Haha! So, do yourself and your laundry a favor and get this machine…it is wonderful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the LG washer tower in order to make space for the 2nd refrigerator. Its been 2 months of heavy use and its working great. Its really surprising the way amount of lint reduced magically for every load than our last dryer. It does its work silently and remove all the stains. I like how you can download different wash cycles, the only thing is you can only use one downloaded cycle at a time. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

I bought this laundry tower to replace a 15 year old stacked washer/dryer. Cleanliness seems about the same, but these units are faster. What's really amazing is how quiet they are. Rather than raise our voices, or the volume on the TV, we wind up checking on the machines, to verify that they are operating. They are that quiet.

Bought a month ago and we love it so far. The 2 things I would change are 1) an optional dryer vent access on the side so that the tower can be pushed back closer to the wall and 2) offer more dryer settings like timed dry that you can set at low heat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how quiet the machine is and it looks great. I really needed a stacked machine due to limited space. What's not so great- very limited options for customizing your laundry cycles. Especially limited on the dryer. I cannot adjust drying temps on any of the regular settings. I have to use the timed settings. I did download the permanent press cycle but that is no better. Even when I select very dry, the clothes never come out dry. Always a little damp. If I restart the cycle, it turns off again within 5 minutes. Ducting is metal and clear. Washer doesn't tumble clothes as well as I think it should. It is especially apparent when washing a mattress pad. It just slips along the tub never flipping so all sides get some agitation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the way the washer uses so little water, and gets the clothing so clean - how do you do that?? Dryer is whisper quiet, and throws very little heat into the room. We bought this as part of a bathroom remodel, so glad we did!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the LG Tower and washer works great but the dryer has sensors in it and due to the long exhaust piper we get an error when we dry a normal load. Wish they could increase dryer output to get rid of errors We would probably have same error with any new dryer unless we would one without the sensors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit about a month ago. I had to buy a new washer/dryer set and to make best use of the space, we stack them. I really like that it is more compact and all the buttons are in the middle of the unit - no more reaching! Having both doors open to the left makes it easier to use in the closet. I didn't think the steam feature was necessary and wasn't even looking for that feature. Little did I know how nice the steam feature is. I would definitely purchase this unit again.

I live in a townhouse and the laundry closet only fits a stackable. The WashTower was the best of both worlds as we wanted a front loader but individual stackable machines were too big for the laundry closet. This is my second WashTower, purchased one for my townhome in Florida a year ago and have been really happy with the performance.
