Couldn't be happier with switching over to this laundry detergent! It smells nice, but not overpowering, and it doesn't irritate my skin after washing my clothes with it.

This is definitely not for use in a High Efficiency front loading washer. It suds up way too much even at below the recommended amount according to the label instructions and the washer compartment. It caused my detergent drawer to overflow and took several empty cycles to clear the suds from the tub. It has a nice smell and may work better in a top loader if only a very small amount is used.

Ever since this detergent switched from a handled bottle to this button dispensed container, I feel as though I'm using more detergent per load. The measured lines on the side for load size seems to have us use more soap. And when you try to use less, it very obviously doesn't clean as well. I find myself using a "large load" amount of soap when before I wasn't. My perception is that it isn't the same value as before.

I have tried many unconventional detergents and this one is good for smells but not for stains and dirt. It definitely does not clean as good as Seventh generation or Tide PurClean. I will use it on dark clothes and sheets, but that's about it. It is also way too sudsy. Lots of suds does not mean better detergent. Is a shame to have to waste water for a 2nd rinse.

Nice plant based which is healthier and still cleans nice and smells great.
