Customer reviews for SAMSUNG 43" Class U8000F Series 4K Crystal UHD Smart TV forTv
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a television. The picture is rather flat and no matter how I adjust the picture it's to dark. But what am I gonna do about it. And I detest AI!
Hi Vall, We’re sorry to hear you’re not fully satisfied with the picture quality on your Samsung U8000F TV. If the image appears too dark, we suggest disabling certain energy-saving features, which can automatically adjust brightness and affect how the screen looks. Go to: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving, then turn off Brightness Optimization, Energy Saving Solution, Motion Lighting, and/or Contrast Enhancer. You can also adjust the Picture Mode to better suit your environment: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode • Standard – Default mode for general viewing • Dynamic – Brighter and clearer, ideal for well-lit rooms • Movie – Best for dark room viewing • Eco – Energy-saving mode • Filmmaker Mode – Preserves content as intended by creators To fine-tune brightness, go to: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings, then adjust the Brightness level (0–50) to your preference. Lastly, please make sure your TV is running the latest firmware: Home > Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now We hope these tips help improve your viewing experience. TOO SMART
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smart TVs are too smart for their own good. The days of buying a TV and simply bringing it home and plugging it in are seemingly gone.

No Rich Color or Depth
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I had bought a better quality Samsung TV. The price is what convinced me to buy, but now that I’ve watched them, I realize the quality is just not there in every category.

Issues
Have issue with line running across the bottom of my screen, started about a month ago and will not go away it’s on all stations like a line of the pixels has deleted from the screen
Hi Old guy, Thank you for your feedback regarding the screen abnormalities you're seeing on your TV. To help determine if the issue is related to the panel itself, we recommend starting with a Picture Test, which displays a high-definition image you can examine for flaws: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test If the issue appears during the test and across all sources (built-in apps, HDMI devices, etc.), it may indicate a panel-related concern. You can also try displaying solid-color test videos (red, green, blue, black, white) from a USB drive or YouTube. This can help you identify whether any pixels are stuck or not functioning properly. In some cases, unplugging the TV for a few minutes and rebooting it can help resolve stuck pixels caused by temporary display behavior. If the problem persists after these steps, the TV may require service. To set up a service appointment, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). LiveChat and additional support resources are also available through the Support link on our website. ~ Samsung Advisor
I love Samsung TVs
I have never had any problems with my TV, the picture quality is just amazing.....although I am ready for my next one....thinking about an 8k this time
Good for price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sound isn't great. Loses connection to Samsung channels and sometimes drops internet. But good for price paid!!
Hi Stace, Thank you for your feedback. If your TV is having trouble maintaining a wireless connection, please try the following: 1. Distance matters – Keep your TV within 50 feet of your router. Avoid placing the router behind walls, furniture, or electronic devices. 2. Minimize interference – Turn off nearby wireless devices that may disrupt the signal. 3. Power cycle both devices – Unplug the TV and router for 30 seconds, then plug them back in. 4. Run diagnostics: o Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Smart Hub Connection Test o Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Wi-Fi 5. Update firmware: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now 6. Factory reset (if needed): Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Reset > Factory Data Reset If you continue to experience issues, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). LiveChat support and additional help are available at the ‘Support’ link on our website. ~ Samsung Advisor

It's So Big
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this 85" Samsung TV and just love it. I bought the Samsung surround sound to go along with it. It is like I'm in a movie theater in my living room. It was an exceptional value also.
OK picture
some trouble to spectrum box and TV to work together . On and Off do not work with the Spectrum box No Controls on TV body It would be great to have a ON/OFF switch Picture not good enough for your Main TV
Hi stoelman, Thank you for your review. You can use the TV's remote control to control external devices that are connected to the TV by an HDMI cable and that support Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC). If you’d like your externally connected devices to turn on/off when you turn your TV on/off, please make sure Anynet+ is enabled. To turn on Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC), go to: Settings > All Settings > Connection > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) = ON. Finally, please know that there is an on/off button on your TV below the Samsung logo at the bottom of your TV. If you need additional support, Samsung is here to help. Please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6 PM Sat – Sun), or reach us via text 24/7.
