In fact, I put that remote away and brought out one from my other TV's. Despite my unhappiness with this TV, I will continue to only buy Samsung because I like the Samsung free TV channels!

I had to purchase another remote and still I need to use one to turn the unit on then the new one to select different feeds etc., the back to the other to turn the unit off. So far, not real excited about this TV even though I've always liked Samsung.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I saw this TV in the showroom, the picture was astounding. It was better than TVs costing twice as much. The contrast and brightness was superior to 90% of other brands and even some of the more expensive Samsung TVs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung 70" UN70U8000FDXZA so far has been a great TV. I like the fact I can continue to use my old remote with all the numbers, volume control and channel selection over the newer remote that is less user friendly. I have my old Samsung sound system connected via USB connection and it still works great. For the money you can't beat this TV. I just wish my bedroom would accommodate a larger screen. I would recommend this TV and I will probably buy another Samsung when this unit dies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] By far the best TV I've ever purchased. The picture quality is A1 and the responsiveness is unmatched. I have had 0 problems with contrast or brightness. Uniformity of the apps and the upscaling is top tier!

The smart features are extremely easy to use. The quality if Samsung Televisions have turned me into a very loyal Samsung customer for life.

A lot of times when I first turn it on and ask for an app right away it tells me the connection is not there. When it is but takes a little minute to get it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV is very nice and pairs well with other devices like speakers and surround systems they can also be controlled with the tv remote to raise/ lower volume, image is very nice and it is very light for its size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good picture and sound quality for an upper lower end TV. Very happy with it. The size fit into our space well! It's a tad slow changing streaming services, but not a big deal. Overall a good a very good product for the value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I stated, everything is good, except the sound. The speaker is terrible. We had a service man come out to show us what to do to get all the features operating since we have never had a TV that does so many things, and for every question we asked him, he had to CALL SOMEONE on his mobil phone to get the answer. Next time, I guess we will have to get help from our neighbors who own Smart TVs.
