It felt almost greasy. Typically the sunscreens I use are lotion based or sprays. The primers I use are either gels or sprays. So this was an odd texture that my skin did not like. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm obsessed. Since this sunscreen is translucent, there truly is no white cast on the skin. It is a bit thinner in consistency than a moisturizer/lotion style sunscreen which makes it very easy to rub in without irritating my skin. When first applied to the skin, it does feel sort of slippery or oily, but it's a very dry type of oily if that makes sense. The oily feeling does go away within about 5-10 minutes of application and soaks into my skin perfectly. It's not drying at ALL. It does have a light and fresh sunscreen scent, but it fades very quickly and isn't overpowering. I have worn this to do yard work (while sweating a lot) and not only has it protected my face from sun burns, but it also hasn't caused me any breakouts so I'm thrilled with this. And i love that it has vitamin C, E and aloe. If i buy it after im done with this ones i will go for a higher SPF. If you like Supergoop, you may enjoy this as lightweight alternative. The scent was slightly chemical, but faded quickly. I used too much the first time and didn't like the greasy feel, but a lighter application felt better when I used less. I used Olay SPF in the morning as my first layer of sunscreen, and used a powder mineral for reapplying later in the day.
