It feels very much like a high silicone primer, that soft slick feeling. I haven't had issues with clogged pores but that might be a problem if you are sensitive to those products. It goes on totally transparent but it is a chemical sunscreen so don't wear it if you plan on swimming in any lakes/oceans! It softened and smoothed my skin before I applied makeup, and knowing it had some SPF was a bonus. However, after a week, the solution separated... Instead of squeezing out as a gel/cream, it poured out like oil, ran through my fingers, dripped on the counter, etc. Gross, greasy and really disappointing. I did still apply what was left on my hand to my face, with similar-ish skin softening, but a longer drying time before i could put on makeup.
