It's really quiet, 38 decibels, and it opens the door when the cycle is done. It also has a light inside. It cleans well. The controls are on top of the door so they don't get accidentally pushed.

The dishwasher I had at my home was very old and ineffective, so it was a very high priority for me to upgrade. This Samsung dishwasher is everything I wanted! Firstly, it is so sleek. I love the fact that it doesn't show fingerprints, and even the buttons are hidden away at the top. It also cleans very well - everything comes out sparkling. Lastly, I am extremely impressed by how large it is on the inside! There is so much room to store pots and pans, dishes, and then the silverware portion at the top is an added bonus. It's perfect for a family or after a large gathering. It's so quite when running, I truly didn't know it was on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the new Samsung DW90F89P0USRAA dishwasher to replace our older model Samsung appliance. To summarize our experience, we found it to be a nice upgrade with some great new features. The flush panel on front (no handle) looked attractive both in the pictures we saw and especially once it was installed into our cabinet. I was a little concerned about being able to open the door in the case of a power failure, but this is easily done by pulling on the sides, or using the provided tool. By pushing the top of the dishwasher the door pops open eliminating the need for a handle--very nice! The top rack has dedicated glassware cleaners which is a very nice addition to the dishwasher. Our previous unit had a dedicated third rack for only utensils and this was a bit of a waste of space compared to the upgraded cup rack. We like the improvement. To our surprise, the dishwasher can be unexpectedly outspoken. It is equped with a mic and speakers used for Bixby, which is Samsung voice assistant. If you were interested starting the dishwasher with your voice, you could--as well as interact with any smarthome devices you have connected to SmartThings. The interface with SmartThings to configure and run the dishwasher is full-featured and efficient, or you can just operate the unit from an integrated display and buttons along the top of the door. Finally, the unit is very quiet when properly installed within your cabinet. We have opened the door mistakenly a few times thinking it was not running only to see water cascading down from our interruption. The quiet operation means fewer distractions when watching movies in our living room and no disturbances from late-night dishwasher runs. Overall we are very satisfied with our purchase.

Other than that, it never really gave me any trouble. The delivery for this new dishwasher was quick, and the installation team was friendly and professional. The only hiccup was that the third rack was damaged during shipping, so I had to contact Samsung support for a replacement part. Fortunately, their support team handled it pretty smoothly. Now that I’ve been using this new dishwasher for a while, I can really tell the difference. It’s noticeably quieter than my previous model. At 38dBA, I can actually run it overnight and nobody in the house even notices. The Whisper Quiet operation keeps my kitchen peaceful, even when the dishwasher’s running full blast. I’m also impressed with the new AI features. The dishwasher automatically senses how dirty the dishes are and adjusts the cycle, which I’ve noticed has helped save energy and water. I have been using it 3-4 times a week, getting used to using three-layered trays. Each of them can be adjusted depending on the shape of the dishes or size. At first, it was a little strange and cumbersome, but now it is the best try system. The gentle touch opens the door, and it can be set to open the door once the washing cycle is complete. Many options are available using the screen or by voice command. I have been using the AI wash all the time, each cycle gives clean dishes, and I barely hear its operational sound. Being connected to the device means you will have access to the latest software (firmware). Recent updates provide the operation by phone. So far, it has been a good decision to have the Samsung Bespoke Dishwasher; from the design (zen, minimalist) to its actual use, all aspects are focused on creating a user-friendly experience. This is more than a dishwasher, but an artwork in my kitchen.

I think my favorite feature is the top rack - In my experience things on the top rack have to go in clean to come out clean. However, with this dishwasher having an extra spray arm on the top AND having specialty jets for glasses - It does a perfect job every time. A good top rack provides an incredible amount of space - I am running the dishwasher less frequently than my last one. As a Smartthings user for a long time, it is also great that this integrates into my smart home - including alerting me to when the dishwasher is done.
