My son was looking for an affordable box spring for his king size bed. After sending him a link to this frame he bought one. He said it was very easy to set up, looks nice, and has made his bed more comfortable. And the price was great.

This is a well designed base for a thick mattress. Easy to assemble and strong. The only thing I do not like is that they call this (like many other) a box spring when almost no one makes box springs. These need to be re-termed a ridged base.

This was easy to assemble, sturdy, and better than anything else I have experienced in a low profile box spring. Don't waste your time hauling wooden box springs home after purchase and save yourself some money too.

Just received this yesterday and couldn’t be happier. It elevates our mattress to a normal level and actually makes it a little more firm. Our old box spring made the bed too high and it was too low without one, so this worked like a charm. Putting it together was a breeze. I’d definitely recommend!

I purchased this for my bed to support a gel memory foam mattress. My bed has wood slats so this adds some more support so the mattress feels perfect. It is low profile and does not add too much height. It was easy to set up and so far has been great to sleep on.

Do NOT order any bed from Sam's Club. I ordered a simple box spring (full size) and they sent me a KING size platform bed with a headboard. They sent the wrong thing and you cannot tell until you open the box and lug the pieces into the house until you find the directions and realize they sent you the wrong item! Sam's Club will be happy to replace the bed with the right one but you have to REBOX and assemble the box for FED EX Pickup. Their 20% consolation discount is of no use to me when I have spent HOURS on the phone/ texting trying to resolve this situation only to be given the WRONG fed ex number and have to call Sam's Club AGAIN to repeat the story and get another fed ex number. Sam's Club did not own the amount of labor I have to do to fix THEIR mistake. I CANCELED the replacement because I will not risk Sam's Club making such a costly mistake again.

it came with a ratchet type tool which made it very easy to assemble.
