I wanted to love this so much but I am severely disappointed. The glitter mess was something I wasn't a fan on but tolerated. I had this up and ready to go outside in mid November. I've had issues with the countdown being wrong but no big deal just grabbed the remote and fixed it but still- annoying. Then one day I went outside to find it topped over not because it came out of the ground but because all of the metal that's holding it together broke off. It's just poorly secured. The post needs something stronger than 3 little pieces holding it on and then it's secured to this base that's not really made well either. It should be a more secured metal piece to hold the post down with thick metal pieces and then cover that with the pretty glitter fabric. Mine is broken, ripped and unfixable and I'm crushed. Not even one season and this thing is a piece of trash in pieces on my floor.

I wanted this for a while but it always sold out so fast. I finally got my hands on one and was really disappointed. The packaging was not that great. A few of the items came dented. The holes did not align very well, so it was harder to put together. If you don't like glitter, I would suggest staying away once the sign is put together. It looks nice and nobody else will see all the defects, but I do not think it is worth the price.

At first this was a very cool idea. The sign is colorful, festive and the lights are bright. I thought this would be fun to have in the neighborhood to alert those driving by how many days until Santa comes. However the metal that this is made out of is probably the cheapest stuff in the world. Construction quality is poor and the sign acts like a sail and on windy days this was blowing all over the place. some of the welds broke and the sign started leaning and looked crooked when viewed from the street. The damage got progressively worse as time went on as more welds would break and the sign became more flimsy and floppy. The sign has been out only for about a month and I'm hoping it will make it until Christmas. After that I will have to try and fabricate something to stiffen the support pole and repair all of the broken welds. Currently the sign is being held together by zip ties and a bungee cord.

I loved this sign, but it lasted less than a week before light wind broke the pole and humidity caused moisture to get inside of the countdown area. In no way do I see this lasting for anyone outside. I really hope they do a re-design to make this more durable, because it really was cool.

Beware just know if you buy this it must stay on 24/7 without turning off or you have to manually reset the calendar every time you shut it off . So if you use a timer for your lights you must use the remote to reset the calendar every day . If you are good with that it's not bad. The fit and finish still sucks, though holes barely lineup and glitter gets everywhere.

I was pleasantly surprised when the package arrived. I knew the description said it is 5 feet tall and 20 lbs. But I understand estimated this. It was pretty easy to put together by myself. There was one step where it would have been easier for another set of hands, but still managed it. The directions were easy to follow, and everything lined up accordingly. I only have 2 complaints. The globe at the top came with a few scratches, and I wish it fastened in tighter. It moves some but still sits in there fine, hopefully wind doesn't effect it. Second, like others spoke of the glitter was out of control. It gets all over the floor, your hands, and anything else around. Someone suggested they were gonna spray it to put a coating over it to prevent the glitter from getting all over. May need to look into it. I do wish it had a battery backup so it would retain the day info once turned off. Not a big enough problem to sway my love for this. Overall extremely pleased with it from size, weight, appearance, and how bright the lights are. Love the chasing lights around the sign.

This is absolute garbage. I'm a DIYer with everything from plumbing to electricity to cars and everything .mechanical. A blind man made this. Nothing lines up as it should. The horizontal support can't be mounted correctly so it just hangs by the wing nut with an oversized hole. The pole mounts to the base, off by 45 degrees. The pole leans. The hardware is cheap. After getting some semblance of this thing built, it was clear it needed to go back. I could have just saved the countdown part and cannibalized the rest but for a Benjamin, nope, it's going back.

Bought this for my daughter as a gift. Like other reviews quality is dirt cheap. The product doesn't want to line up correctly when putting it together. Half of the lights don't work. Contacted Sam's Club for help. Bring it back for a refund. I DONT WANT A REFUND I WANT THE PRODUCT TO WORK! I'd expect more from Sam's Club. Now the thing is out of stock across the country, and I can't find one anywhere. Disappointed is an understatement!

Please know what you are getting with this sign. It looks nice but the functionality of it is poor. If you want a countdown clock that actually counts down by itself you may not want this. This is designed to be on at all times or turned on and off with the remote in order for the countdown clock to work. This is the only way for the clock to countdown correctly. Also know that the time you set the auto function to work is the time it will change from one day to the next. For example, if you set the auto function at 11 am then at 11 am the next day the clock will change the number of days. If power is interrupted or you have this thing on a timer to turn on and off the countdown clock this thing will not work as it should, you will have to manually set the days using the remote. So if you are okay using the remote to turn it on and off this will work for you or if you leave it on permanently then it will work for you. Otherwise you will have to change the number of days manually using the remote. All that was needed to make this a really cool thing is to add some battery capabilities so the time/number of days could be remembered when used with a timer.
