I love it, love the firmness chewiness of the oats I don want mush, cooking tip, first I add the pinhead oats to a pan, add cinnamon, ginger a little sugar and sometimes I also add a little vanilla I cook this in 1 Half & Half, I like to stir it as I bring it to a boil lower the temp continue to stir and boil until it is at the consistency that I like. Don't go by what other are saying try it yourself. I like that this is shipped right from Prairie Mills, and the other thing you can'd beat the per pound price.

Excellent product and excellent price. We eat oatmeal daily and our local stores raised their price for a 2 pound container to nearly $5. Buying this in bulk is about $2.60 for the same amount. Just have to cook these longer to soften up. Wish you sold the stone-ground in bulk also.

Excellent price for steel cut oats and it stores well in an air tight food grade bucket. Good prep item. Husband and I have a small bowl several times a week with berries, some raw honey or maple syrup (can get both at Sam’s) and sprouted pumpkin seeds. I prep it the night before in my rice cooker and set the timer for the morning- easy peasy. A healthy and delicious breakfast!

We were so happy to find this great price of our favorite steel cut oats! We will be buying this again! It was exactly what we wanted! Some brands have rolled oats fillers or they are instant steel cut oats. We wanted the nuggets that are the long cooking oats. We were very pleased!
