[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this 10 gallon Wet Dry Vac because my small one wasn't large enough to hook up to my miter saw to keep the shavings from going all over my work room. This vacuum is perfect. I was pleasantly surprised with all of the attachments included. The power cord is long (about 18 feet) which makes it very easy to use in large areas where plugs are not readily available. The vacuum hose is also long (about 11 feet) and when attached to the rigid extenders, there's so much versatility when using this. It comes with a filter and bag for dry applications and a filter for wet applications. The power is really strong and it also has a hook-up for you to use for blowing air. The wheels for the vacuum need to be installed with the included screws and takes about 3 minutes to put on. The wheels also double as a place to store the accessories. I love this Wet Dry Vac and would highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Porter Cable PCX18156 10 Gallon Stainless Steel Wet Dry Vacuum is a perfect wet/dry vacuum. It was easy to put together and easy to follow instructions. Requires a disposable filter bag for dry vacuum and a foam filter for wet vacuum. Both are included. It also has a tank drain for emptying liquids, so no heavy lifting required. It requires 4 screws to attach the wheels. Only requires a phillips screwdriver to put together. I used it to vacuum my car and the suction power is great. It does a great job and I would definitely recommend this product to family and friends.

Stainless steel design is a very nice look, also easy to keep the vacuum cleaner clean 3. The filter for the dry pick is very efficient at keeping dust inside the vacuum chamber rather than blowing it out the back 4. this vacuum cleaner accepts paper bags which is very convenient when emptying the canister. Again, a lot less mess as you can just throw away the bag rather than dumping all the dust into the trash can, which usually blows dust everywhere 5. wet filter is standard and has an autostop so when the canister is full, liquid won't spit out the back. 6. The hoses are nice and big, coupled with powerful suction the vacuum cleaner can handle any job you throw at it. 7. It has a handle up top which also acts as a chord keeper. I love this shop vac and highly recommend it.

It has a nice big tank (10 gal) that holds a lot before so I don't have to stop as often to empty it. The hose has attachments to make it longer for hard to reach or high places. The cord seems extra long, at least for me it does. I can go quite a ways before I need to unplug and look for another outlet. It has a handle on the top for carrying but it also has wheels so you can just pull it with you. I wind the cord around the handle when I'm done using it. It also comes with three attachment for anything you need to do. This can be used either wet or dry and comes with filters for both. I highly recommend this vacuum. You won't be disappointed.

It also include one bag and the wet and dry filters as well. We have a large garage and an underground house so there is always something to vacuum up. This is the third canister vacuum I have from different brands and this one performs just as good as the more expensive one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shop vac is a nice large size. If you're really going to use it in the shop (don't hide it - it really looks nice! I'm not sure how nice it will look after getting shop dust and grime on it and will probably require lots of wipe-downs to keep it shiny), you need a shop vac this big. It's a powerful vacuum but also a decent blower (see the photo below with my husband blowing off the throw rug. The rug was flipping up and moving). It has a lot of accessories (you can actually use a huge bag inside if you have lots of dust you want to contain rather than putting it back into the air when you're emptying it). 10 gallons is a good size, so you won't have to empty it quite as often either. Plus, it has a lot of cable (15 feet or so) and it wraps nicely around the handle on the top of the vac. The clips holding the hose (which is about 10 feet long) are tight and maybe a tiny bit difficult to un-clip, though if they were easier to un-clip, they'd likely come un-done while you're vacuuming or using it as a blower. They are plastic, so I'm not sure how durable they will be over many uses, but they do feel sturdy.

My husband and me recently renovated our bathroom and this Porter Cable wet and Dry vacuum came very handy for clean up. It has a stainless steel 10 gallon tank for easy pick up of both wet and dry mess. The handle is great to hold and transport the wet and dry vacuum easily. It has maximum suction power and I was amazed to see how it helped me to clean up all the mess very quickly. It has 6.5 Horsepower which makes it great for easy effective pick ups. The on and off switch is large and water resistant. The hose length and even the cord length is decent and works for me perfectly. The bathroom renovation was such a success with the help of this dry and wet vacuum. We recently used it to clean our car and that was so so efficient. Really easy to clean the car with this since it’s portable can the cord length matched the distance from our power outlet. It’s great for cleaning car upholstery too. Overall I am so happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very good 10 gallon vacuum that doesn't take up an extreme amount of space. The stainless barrel is pretty thin but I like it better than the plastic ones. It comes with a few useful attachments (floor brush, crevice, and utility nozzles)as well as a universal pleated filter, a 'dry' bag and a foam filter for liquid clean up (there is a liquid drain port at the bottom of the vacuum also). There are 2 large hard plastic extensions for the floor brush and a large diameter corrugated hose. I was very pleased to find the power cord is 18 feet long and probably the longest cord I've ever seen on a shop style vacuum cleaner. Most other cords are much shorter and, in my opinion, a longer cord is usually a bonus on a vacuum that will see duty throughout the shop. The cord rolls up around the heavy duty lifting handle and the plug end snaps in place around the cord to keep things tidy. The on/off switch is bigger than average and I appreciate that when I'm wearing gloves. The vacuum performance is very good and it sucks well. The corrugated hose is fine but I have problems from time to time with debris jamming in the pleats. This is an issue with every shop vac I've ever owned because they all use the same design corrugated hose. I do wish someone would redesign this aspect of vacuum hose construction. The larger hose size on this one does help. The accessories store on top of the wheels which I thought was kind of strange but it works just fine. The floor brush is made well. I use rubber floor mats on my concrete floor and vacuuming them is tough because most floor brushes want to suck up the entire mat instead of just the dirt on it. I had no problems with this floor brush since it's made with the bristles missing in some areas and that allows just enough suction to escape to keep from sucking up the mat while still vacuuming the dirt. Good job there. The brush still performs well on a smooth concrete floor. If you're in the market for a 10 gallon shop vac this one is a good choice.
