Great SSD Drive, Bad promo deal

This is an excellent portable SSD product. However, I am not happy that WD sold this adverting an iPhone/iPad external flash drive promo which wasn’t sent out with the SanDisk purchase. Bad deal. But drive is good. Heats up in normal use so keep it well ventilated. Cable is a bit short.

Not Compatible With iPad Pro

After I had uploaded a 6 minute video to the SanDisk from my iPad Pro, it automatically switched and froze into “Read Only Mode”. I could no longer add more photos or videos, and couldn’t delete the one I had uploaded. After searching online to troubleshoot this, I found that I would need a MacBook Pro to reformat the SanDisk, which I don’t own. This was unexpected and annoying. This product didn’t work as expected and a waste of my time. I returned it and got a refund.
