Learning the features from online. My phone alerts me off the progress and when finished. I have to learn how to set from my phone. Hubby is having trouble downloading the app. Other than that so far so great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good idea for washer and dryer to be one unit. The best feature besides not having to transfer the laundry is the dryer function. The clothes do not get balled up because the dryer turns clockwise and the turns counter clockwise. Not sure about the fancy smart phone operation or the touch screen. We shall see how well it all holds up. My unit is vented so total time to wash and dry are about the same as my former stack unit. So far, very happy. I do wish there was an owners manual instead of going online for information and operations. I also don't like that to get faulty or error codes you have to go to your smart phone instead of the unit touch screen.

As I was used to the operation of the older units, these were pretty much the same with a few added features so it was intuitive and no learning curve. I may check out the special features at some point but right now all I needed was the basic washing and drying features. I am very pleased with the overall operation and they seemed to be much more sleek and efficient. There is a feature that connects it to my phone but do not see me trying to operate it remotely. Yes, I would highly recommend.

The capacity is large enough to wash blankets and bedding without a problem and the drying without changing the load over is awesome. I’d say the only drawback is the detergent is loaded at the bottom of the washer. But that’s not huge for me since it will do so many loads, but I can see where that would be difficult for some people, even with a pedestal.

We got the vented dryer because our previous GE brand ventless washer dryer combo became unrepairable within a year. This Samsung brand is 10x better then GE we had.

Love not having to add detergent every wash, but I’m still playing with the concentration settings to get it where I like it. Lent trap is a breeze to clear. Having a little trouble with extra vibration when on spin mode, but I also have it on a pedestal and have heard this is a common issue. Really like it being on the pedestal though and not having to bend over so far along with the extra storage. I think it’s worth it. This vented version is slightly larger than the ventless and does appear to be a bit more imposing especially on a pedestal so this should be kept in mind when purchasing. Overall it’s a good machine and I have been impressed with the wash/dry times which I believe have been less than 2 1/2 hours or sooner. Tip: the high contrast mode is great

The first load we tested was a combination of towels and a comforter. The unit was quiet when running and I was pleasantly surprised to find that all of the items were dry at the the end of the cycle. Our old dryer required multiple dry cycles achieve this result. We are impressed!

Some things that wasn’t clear at purchase are the door cannot be reversed, this machine is 240v while the ventless is 120, machine is extra heavy, detergent bubbling feature is not explained clearly. After using I noticed that touchscreen lack’s explanations of what the different washing modes do, when using wash and dry there is no option to change spin cycle from extra high which makes the imbalance impossible to work itself out so it started the dry cycle while wet and ended with wet. Another is small towels got stuck on the walls after the extra high spin cycle and then the dry cycle didn’t work, it was partially damp. So I feel in some loads I have to adjust the load before the dry cycle starts. Oh and I don’t know what the ai does. The old upright from Samsung I bought 8 years ago had sensing .
