But not only is it nice sleek and white but it leaves my dishes nice and clean. I feel like my dishes are way cleaner than in my previous unit. I also love the auto open feature so it can air out once it's done. The dishwasher does have 3 racks, which is perfect for me. I like to use the 3rd rack for smaller items such as lids from thermos, cup lids, small bowls, etc. It has like a basket for that so it won't fall down. Did I mention how quiet it is when it is running? I can barely notice it, and even though it runs quietly, it cleans very thoroughly. The smart things app is also another great feature that comes with the dishwasher. You can change the settings and set different cleaning options because there are several, and get notifications on your phone. I highly recommend this dishwasher to anyone and everyone.

It runs almost silently, so we did not feel that it was running. The third rack provides better space efficiency for smaller utensils such as flatware. Larger utensils fit into the lower rack by removing the flatware basket. I ran a one-hour cycle, and it operated whisper-quiet. When the cycle finished, the auto-release door opened automatically, and I received an alert on my phone. The dishes came out spotlessly clean and completely dry. The Smart Dry feature and the auto-release door are impressive features. Another nice feature is the flatware basket on the bottom rack. It's side-mounted and removable, making it easier to fit larger utensils. My old dishwasher had a front-mounted flatware basket that often fell out when opening the door. There is no such problem with the Samsung dishwasher as it is designed perfectly. The white glass finish attracts fingerprints and smudges. It's easy to clean. I have had several Samsung dishwashers over the last 5 years and this by far is the quieter of them all, I hardly knew it was on. It operates at a quiet 38 DBA sound level and includes auto release and smart dry features. I love the auto release because it allows air to circulate in order to dry the dishes. No more wiping down the dishes with a rag. They come out spotless when you use a rinse aid. It offers AI wash cycles for customizable timing and cleaning intensity. I used the 60 minute wash and it was quick and washed all dishes well. The stainless steel fingerprint resistant finish matches all of my other appliances. It's easy to keep clean and can be wiped down with ease. I am pleased with this purchase, it has exceeded my expectations.

The top rack wash does an amazing job with glasses and cutlery - something I struggled with - in our old dishwasher. The other racks are great too, with options for dishes, pots, storm wash - everything we put in has come out completely clean. The middle rack also has multiple height settings, providing enough room to get everything in. While we have tried all of the clean settings, the AI one works great and adapts to the items in the dishwasher (I have no idea how they do that!).

Samsung is a leader in AI-based appliances; we are excited about what it can do for our daily lives. Upon using the new one, noticeably different from the old one, the noise level is significantly lower than that of the old one. A couple of cool features: Opening the door: options for automatically opening the door after the cycle finishes (A great idea), Bixby integration as a simple operation, flexible three trays that securely hold wine glasses and other dishes, which flipped down to be easy and user friendly operation, the voice confirmation and instruction, a nice LCD showing all info and easy to adjust functions, and the most beautiful thing is AI wash: it monitors water and electricity usage and optimize to reduce the total energy cost. Also, there is no guesswork on the types of dirty dishes. The phone integration through the Samsung Ecosystem, which displays messages on the phone or Samsung TVs, is a very convenient function. The observed cycle time ranges from 60 minutes to 90 minutes. Later that day, we realized that we could open the door by gently pushing it or saying, “Hey, Bixby, wait for the voice, and then say, “Open the door.” As noted above, all those AI or high-tech features are embedded into the ease of use, hiding most of the complexity, which is a beautiful thing for everyday users.

There was unfortunately times that the silverware still had things caked on it after a cycle had ran. The unit also held moisture inappropriately leading to mildew. The new unit from Samsung is all of the things that the previous dishwasher was lacking. Its super efficient and has a great energy star rating that I appreciate, as I am always trying to find ways to be more environmentally friendly and efficient in my home. The unit is super quiet and you practically don't know if its running. Additionally, it has lots of different system settings for cycles, based on whatever the dishes may need in the moment. The top rack for utensils and glasses helps to clean the items very well and leaves them super sparkly. I appreciate that the unit door pops open when the cycle is complete to alert me in case I am not home. I do wish that the unit came with a more helpful "quick start" guide that reviewed all of the different cycles. I felt like a lot of it was learn in the moment and Google search to figure it out.
