[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using as a Gazebo. A neighbor put up the same size gazebo from Backyard Discovery, but the hip roof version and it looked great on a poured patio. My relative then put up this version a month later and I also preferred this model for a better sky view (we don't have a mosquito problem). Took about 60 total hours to complete this build.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this Gazebo to replace a metal Pergola covering our backyard patio. This gazebo is so much sturdier than our previous setup and with the metal roof and electrical outlets, it provides all we need. The product installation was well documented and the step by step video tutorial made it super easy to assemble without second guessing what you were doing. A few steps require a second or third person, but for the most part it was a one man assembly. We love the look and are hoping to enjoy it for years to come.

I purchased this product and was on the schedule everything was good until the week of delivery. Freight company pushed back delivery date multiple times. Took the day off work to ensure the delivery arrived on time. Perfect arrived day before install. Confirmed with Goconfigure the night before. Spoke with installer. Everything is good. Day of install, the installer Phil went MIA. I called and texted him 25 times, no response. Goconfigure contacted him, no response. Now im stuck with 1200 pounds and 8 boxes blocking my driveway. No care or urgency now that they have my money.

The purchase process was efficient, the kit arrived in excellent condition, and installation instructions were very thorough. This is a great addition to my backyard, one that I'm sure I'll enjoy for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this in May 2023. The basic build out was well explained and easy to assemble with one helper. However, it took me six months to fully complete my install, doing a little at a time. It's now fully enclosed with an additional 6x10' adjoining space. It's my full outdoor kitchen with seating for 4, a propane firepit & table, a 4 burner 36" Blackstone griddle, 4 burner 39" Charbroil grille, 2 storage cabinets, a waste bin, a deep sink, overhead fan and exhaust fan, controlled lighting, and rain gutters. I can use fully enclosed or open air. It's a wonderful addition.

This was an addition to our patio and it really brought everything together. It is a very nice product and we didn’t have any issues with the assembly. The only issue we had was not knowing the posts would be hollow, we were hoping for solid for stability and durability. Otherwise it was comparable and did its job.

I was really impressed with how this went together. Everything lined up well enough, and was easy enough to put together. My only complaint is the roof. The roof isn’t designed for places that have heavy rain the metal roofing doesn’t extend long enough to shed water properly. Both ends also don’t have any roofing material over them, so they are completely exposed to the weather. The design for this roof is a poor choice. The edges are high, with no roofing material, then it drops lower to where the roofing material is, which causes the roofing material to not protect the wood. They should have just designed the roof as a regular roof.

We purchased the Norwood 16x12 in June for our property close to the lake here in Montana. We just got it built a week ago with the help of friends who were able to come up and stay. With the 3 of them it took 2 days. It is fabulous. It provides great shade throughout the day and is a great place to sit and drink coffee in the morning. I'm just sorry it took so long to get it up because our time here for the season is coming to an end but knowing it will be here when we come back is great. We picked Backyard Discovery because of the weather rating. Winters in northeast Montana can be very brutal so we are hoping it holds up well. It is anchored in 3 ft footings and one of our friends that helped build it is a structural engineer and said he was very impressed with the materials and how strong it is. He's thinking about getting one. Everyone that drives by does a double take looking at it.

While it was a beast to construct the parts are great quality, instructions very clear and they even provided extra hardware. We are extremely happy as we assembled on a new patio to cover our hot tub. Turned out better than I could have imagined!!

After having a gazebo buckle under the weight of a heavy snowstorm, we wanted one that we knew would withstand our harsh midwestern winters as well as our strong summer storms. After a lot of research, we decided on the 12 x 10 Brindlewood! Ordering this gazebo was quick and easy, and so was the delivery. It even arrived much earlier than we thought it would. All the different parts and the five boxes they came in were well sorted, packed, and labeled. My husband and daughter were able to put it together without any problem because of the thorough and easy to follow instructions. Our gazebo looks beautiful and fits perfectly with the landscape of our backyard. We are looking forward to spending a lot of time in our new Happy Place!
