Great Quick Family Dinner

These are good. I didn't microwave them. I cooked them in a frying pan with a little oil and added teriyaki sauce. The only con that the vegetables are really just scraps. I would add more veggies. I also added the jumbo shrimp. YUM. I would definitely recommend.

VERY Disappointed

This item looked so good, all the veggies and plenty of noodles and then we tasted it- VERY SALTY couldn't believe it. We looked on the box and found it has 780mg per serving, holy moly! We will NOT buy this item again. However, for anyone else that has and can't take the over salting of the noodles really, not the veggies, we took the remaining packets right from freezer and ran hot water over them in a colander, drained properly and then put in saute' pan with our own sauce, added some shrimp and/or chicken in with it and was much better and a whole lot less salty.

Great for a delicious quick meal

Easy to prepare. You can add leftover chicken, beef or shrimp and other vegetables if you like. After microwaving the chow mein as directed, stir fry briefly with whatever extra ingredients you want. Add a little soy sauce or teriyaki sauce. I plan to always keep some in the freezer for those nights when I'm in a hurry.

Not worth the money

High sodium to begin with; very few vegetables; not much taste. DO NOT ADD SOY SAUCE or it will be too salty. The only thing this product may be of use is to add precooked vegetables and meat or fish. I will try adding a packet to my home made chicken soup but as a stand alone meal it just doesn't cut it.

Good Frozen Chow Mein

I like it because the flavor is good, but with all frozen foods, the sodium is high. It tastes better than the chow mein from my local Chinese spot. I do not like that some of the vegetables and noodles do not get warm if I follow the directions for 3 minutes, but then if I let it stay in for 3:30-4:00, some of the noodles get overdone/dry (I suppose if you have a microwave higher than 700 watts, that won't be a problem). Despite that, I still really like this stuff, so much that I buy it every month during my monthly visit to Sam's.

Easy %26 Delicious 😋

This meal is pretty good straight out of the package, but I like to jazz it up a bit. Lately I've been throwing a couple big handfuls of fresh spinach on top after microwaving, then adding a dash of sesame oil and a little garlic chili oil. If I'm extra hungry, I'll toss in some rotisserie chicken, but I usually keep it vegetarian. These are perfect to keep in the freezer at work—super quick, light, and surprisingly tasty. If you're thinking about trying them, don't overthink it, just grab a box. I'm a fan. Only complaint: the cabbage can be a little waterlogged, but honestly, it's not a dealbreaker. 🙃

Not that Great

Vegetable chow mein...sounded so good. Taste is not horrible, but not really good either. Not worth the price even on sale. When the description says "ten crispy vegetables" they evidently mean "ten pieces of vegetables." Basically some ramen noodles with a few bits of stir fry veggies sprinkled on top and doused in soy sauce. You would be better buying a six pack of Ramen Noodles, a bag of frozen stir fry veggies, and a bottle of soy sauce.and pay half the price...with leftovers to boot. We wanted to love this...but will pass next time. Will not be buying again.

Better than takeout!

I saw these in store while picking up some frozen mango and decided to do a quick search on item. Read the reviews, some bad and decided to try them anyways. So glad I did. The chow mein is pretty darn good. Way better than takeout in terms of greasiness. Could have been better with more veggies but you can always add additional veggies or protein. In terms of prep, I cook in microwave for a minute and saute in pan with a little olive oil to crisp the veggies and noodles. So tasty. Will buy again. The serving size is 1/2 bag but I could eat a whole bag to myself.

Vegetable chow mein

For a store box item the vegetable chow mein is really good.
