This is a nice set for the price, and really liked that the backpack has 2 large zipper compartments for organization, but really disappointed in the liner of the main backpack compartment and water bottle pockets. The liner began to crack, peel, and flake off which makes a mess anytime it's used. We quit using the main compartment just because of the mess it makes, so having 2 main compartments is now kind of useless. The back zipper compartment (laptop/tablet section) is not lined with this - so only use it - wish both sections were made this way. No complaints on the lunchbox - it is holding up great. We probably will purchase a new backpack though...

The inside peeled off and made a mess, the zippers kept getting stick and then the handle at the top ripped the bag right open. It was only used for 2 months. So disappointed. I should have taken it back but I was to upset about buying another backpack that I didn't want to deal with another line and store.

I thought this was a great deal until the white lining inside started breaking and pieces started falling off. It got so messy and I had to return it after using it for less than two months. Design is cute and price was awesome. Sadly, quality didn't match up.

I bought this backpack for my son and daughter. In less than 2 months they both have completely fallen apart! Holes at the seam, handles torn off! I purchased a similar back last year for my son and it lasted the whole year! This year I wasted my money!!

I have been buying backpacks for 9 years, and they have always lasted all year long. This one only lasted 3.5 months. My kids are not hard on their bags. I just donated 4 of their old back packs from 2 years ago to a thrift store. Don't waste your money on this!

I purchased this set for my daughter to start kindergarten this year. Within a couple months the liner started peeling badly. Now the liner is pretty much completely missing from the bottom of the bag. It's very cute and she adores the butterflies but the quality it terrible.

The product description says "heavy-duty polyester, reinforced handle strength and durability," but this backpack is not as tough as it sounds. After the first two weeks of school, this backpack had come apart. The butterfly print was a good feature, there was ample room for school materials, and was told that it fit comfortably. Maybe it's suitable for very light duty use, but our experience was not good.

Purchased this for my granddaughter and within the first few months the inside started to desinigrade. The lining is gone and I've had to find a replacement. I would not recommend this to anyone. Worst 20 dollars spent.. if I still had the receipt I would request my money back..

The smell is awful. Purchase this for my son this year before school started and just 1 month into school it was falling apart. He asked for the exact same one because the dog tore open his lunch box. New one came in and smells just as bad. The lunchbag is great but the backpack is absolutely horrible. He is in kindergarten so no reason for the liner to peel off only carries lunch bag and a folder.

My daughter has only been in school for 6 weeks and this back pack is already falling apart. She doesn't even use all of the pockets or carry anything heavy in it. She usually only has her daily planner one take home folder and maybe a cloth pencil case, so there is no reason for this bag to be falling apart besides poor quality. The zippers are ripping out of the bag and the lining inside is crumbling apart. I have to now spend more money to buy her a new back pack. Very disappointed in this product. Sam's Club should definitely not carry this item any longer.
