I purchased this tv a couple of months ago for the kitchen area. Setting it up was about as simple as it could have been. Easy to add and sign into all of the wifi networks and has a GREAT picture. My wife and I both were really surprised with the quality of this 24" television. We were so impressed with it we purchased another one for the bedroom. We are very happy with both of them and would suggest one to anyone we know looking for a smart television 20 to 30 inches with a great picture.

The picture is ok, navigation is fairly easy. I am unimpressed with the sound. I have a hearing loss and the sound quality of the speakers sounds tinny and hollow, I struggle to hear what is being said. Fortunately I have a sound bar that gives me a richer quality so I can hear my shows.

The Setup Manual was a set of 4 pictures, and one was how to insert the batteries, simply the easiest setup ever. You screw in the feet and plug in the TV and see a menu asking for your language. It automatically discovers WiFi signals and was such a breeze. It did need to update but, unlike other brands, that was 2 minutes at most. The customization of picture and sound allows you to find your personal sweet spot for pure enjoyment. The Vizio+ Watch Free feature is icing on the cake.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a TV that was compatible with my old VHS/DVD player and this TV has the necessary RCA hookups. I was relatively easy to set up (as far as smart TVs go). I have already watched a movie on it and the picture is good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is for the Vizio 32” Class HD Smart TV D-Series. I set this TV up in my daughter's room, so she's been able to use it for herself as well. When I first set up the TV, I made sure to download the updates prior to use to make sure it works to its best potential, including the WiFi connectivity. After the updates were completed, I was able to test out the different functions and see how well the TV worked overall. Here is what I found after just a few days of use: Pro #1: The setup for this Vizio TV was rather easy. It was pretty self explanatory and I was able to set it up within 5 minutes then it was ready to use. Pro #2: The picture quality on the TV a great. The picture is clear and doesn't look grainy. There's even the ability to change the picture mode such as “Vivid”, “Game”, “Computer”, “Standard”, which makes the picture exactly the way you want it to look depending on what you are watching or playing. Pro #3 & Con #1: The sound quality is good with most videos. When watching in most apps, the sound quality is clear and stays pretty consistent. Unfortunately, here's where the con comes into play. While watching videos on certain apps such as Hulu and Netflix, the sound levels will be too high one minute then get too soft during a different scene. It does not seem to happen with each show on those two apps, but it's happened to a few movies/shows I've watched thus far. Pro #4: The app center home screen has a great platform. There are plenty of apps to choose from and all of the apps that we use in our house are offered on this TV. The home screen also has its own channels to watch movies and TV shows made specifically for the Vizio TV owners. They are plenty of videos to choose from so we'll never get bored. Pro #5: The WiFi connectivity works exactly as it should. The only time I have an issue with the WiFi is when my own person internet goes down, which has nothing to do with the TV itself. I have yet to have an issue with lag when watching a video either. Overall, I would highly recommend this Vizio TV. It has many great qualities and works exactly as it's meant to. The 32” is the perfect size for my daughter's room and the set up for the remote and home screen makes it easy for her to navigate as she's only 6 years old. With the quality I've noticed this far, I expect it to last us quite a long time into the future.

Not all apps are available for download on the Vizio format (MLB for example) so have to use a fire stick anyway. In order to use the VIZIO software, have to agree to share all viewing data with them (even the apps you download). Software worthless in the end.
