Poor sound quality

Picture is fine, size is fine, installation was very easy. The sound quality is really poor! The television I received needs to be turned up above 30 to hear. The more the volume is increased, the more the sound becomes very distorted. I googled how to adjust the sound quality, followed all the instructions and still awful sound quality. I read all the reviews regarding "sound" prior to purchasing. Unless I received a defective television, the sound quality on this television is extremely poor. Returning and goind to purchase a different brand.

I'm happy with my Vizio's.

I have several Vizio TVs. I've had very good luck with them. This 32-in serves as a replacement for a smaller TV in the primary bedroom. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to quote the price that I paid, I will anyway, $128. I was stunned. It's performance is excellent. It's a smarty so I really don't have to use my Roku stick. It has all my streaming apps. I'm happy.

Not so good if your cutting cable

This TV is not so good for OTA broacasts, its hard to get back to the OTA channel you were watching from Smart Cast, or another Streaming input. Also when you're on the OTA input when you want to go back to the previous channel you some times have to press the remote 2-3 times beofre the TV changes channels. I suppose it would be great for cable, or satellite TV.

It's a TV

This is marketed as a 720p "smart" TV from Vizio. It is the furthest thing from "smart". It does connect to the internet, and it does possess "apps" to connect to your favorite streaming services. Staying connected...well that's a different story entirely. I've encountered "overbuffer" errors on Paramount , HBOMax, and Tubi apps. Basically, while streaming, the video playback stalls (usually after ads) and then the app completely locks up and requires that the TV must be unplugged for 30 seconds before it returns to functionality. I've had better luck streaming from a tablet, chromebook, or phone and casting to the TV which it handles well enough. Other apps on the other hand function flawlessly; PlutoTV, Disney , Netflix, and Amazon Video. This leads me to believe that it is the TV and Vizio's implementation of the apps that are at fault, and not the internet connection that I'm utilizing. I also absolutely loathe the unskippable ads that Vizio occasionally throws out right after starting up, forcing the user to open an app regardless of whether you have a subscription. Then you have to cancel and close out of the unwanted app in order to get to what you really turned the TV on to watch in the first place. B.E.Y.O.N.D. aggravating. This is a decent bedroom TV, or maybe something to mount in the kitchen or even a garage. This doesn't have the definition to be a main viewing display, but it is fine for bedroom viewing, or maybe even a kid's playroom connected to a lower definition game system or DVD player for loop playback of a kid's show. As with pretty much any of these types of TVs, sound should be sent through a soundbar or other type of audio device.

Just a tv w/ a bunch of preloaded apps. If anyone in the same house chooses to vacuum, wash or shred documents and watch tv at the same time DONT BUY THIS. It loses signal of glitches out for everything when using antenna. NO channel guide, slow reacting remote,

I do not like this TV at all, it came with no instructions on how to use the remote at all. I do not have did not have any thing on how to use the remote I just want my regular accounts. my son worked with it for two days %26 got it to bring up local channels but turn the tv off %26 back on later its the same game over.

Just like alot if newer technology, it tends to glitch, like a lot... more than my phone does. All the features are awesome and I really like it, but sucks I have to restart it every time it acts up. Some of the things that have happened: -HDMI ports stopped working -Kicked me out of Netflix while watching a movie -Screen completely blanks out -Volume an other buttons have a delayed reaction All solved by unplugging it for a bit.

I like the size of the tv in my guestroom, as well as the extra watch free channels I receive. What I don't like is I cannot download the Spectrum app on the tv. I have to cast it to the tv, which is crazy when the app would do the trick. Come on Spectrum, put the app on the Vizio tvs.

The sound quality is AWFUL

The TV itself is ok picture-wise, but the sound quality is TERRIBLE! If you don't have a home theater system or external speakers to use with this TV I strongly recommend not buying it. It was cheap and I've already got it set up, but if I wasn't so lazy I would return it. As it stands I am searching for a sound bar to see if I can't make it bearable to listen to.
