Great Tv, Perfect for dorm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tv to replace my old one that I have been using in my dorm. I love how easy it was to setup, and I also liked how lightweight it was. I had to carry it back to my dorm room but it was easy.

Nice picture and sound, but not user-friendly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to be honest - I had never heard of Vizio until our daughter and son-in-law purchased one for us after we had lost everything in a tornado. I think they bought this tv just because it was available and fit the cabinet space. In any case, it works okay and the picture and sound are fine. But the user interface is not user-friendly. We have used this tv for over a year now and I'm still figuring out how to work it. I even had to reset it to the manufacturer's original settings not long ago to get some things to work. We have had to unplug and re-plug several times as well. I will not purchase a Vizio in the future unless they can figure out how to make it easier to use.

Trash

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Vizio sucks. The entire software sucks. Parental controls suck. Literally cannot block or lock apps unless in the actual app. Freezes. Takes a lifetime to even load on startup. What a horrible tv. Based on other reviews, it's ALL of their tvs. Wayyyyyyyyyy better off purchasing a cheap TCL or hisense or literally ANY other brand equipped with roku. If you just need a screen and plan to use a firestick or roku then this is the brand for you!

Great 24" sized TV!

Piece of Crap

DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP!! I haven’t had it a year and have felt like throwing the remote through the screen on many, many occasions! IT WILL NOT STAY CONNECTED TO THE WI-FI and no, there is no issue with my internet. I have Roku’s on two of my other TV’s in other rooms of the house and I NEVER have issues with those. This piece of junk is in the same room with my Wi-Fi router and still won’t keep a connection. Don’t waste your money!!!

Best brand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vizio TV is really the best. I bought a 55”, 70”, and now a 24” for my kitchen. Plenty of apps and Vizio free, that’s awesome. I don’t have to by cable anymore, just the internet and my Vizio TVs.

Apps don’t work correctly

For some reason the HBOMAX app freezes and won’t respond to the remote. This is the second one that does the same thing. It also turn it self off and I couldn’t turn it back on I had to unplug it from outlet plugged it back in and it started working again.

To power cycle a TV you will want to unplug the power and then hold the power button on the back of the TV for at least 5-10 seconds while unplugged. After those 5-10 seconds go ahead and plug the power back in and try again. “Smart” part quit working after 1 year

This Vizio “Smart” tv worked great for about 14 months after which it was no longer able to connect to my home internet. Numerous calls to Vizio gave me lots of ideas to try including a total factory reset. I have tried all those things several times. The local cable stations work just fine. Vizio tried to tell me I didn’t have an internet connection ( as I was chatting with them over the internet on my computer in same room as TV!). Obviously the defect is in the Vizio Smart part. I bought an Amazon fire stick and now I can easily steam what I want. My suggestion-forget the so called “ smart” TV and just go with the firestick!

Great TV For The Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple of weeks ago and it was a great price for a smart tv. It was easy to setup and use but I only gave it 4 stars because when turning on the tv, it takes 5 or so minutes to establish the already saved internet connection.
