Nightmare to assemble

This shed was a nightmare to assemble. We had a tough time-2 people and it took 10 hours. Things did not match up; holes, slots etc. Most of the plastic bags containing the screws and accessories were marked incorrectly and we had a really hard time finding the correct pieces and accessories. It was the worst thing we've ever assembled.

We apologize about the frustration with the assembly of your new shed. There is a visual I.D. of every part in the manual, and some of the larger pieces have measurements associated with them. Each part is not labeled individually since stickers would increase manufacturing costs, which would raise the sales price. We do have several assembly help options available if you run into questions, including; YouTube video tutorials, the BILT app, and also our Customer Service Department is always a great resource. Instructions

I started putting this together last week-end and it was very difficult to match parts due to some being within other packets. There are no extra screws and if you dropped one (which I did) I was out of luck. Would have been nice if there were a option to buy parts to expand the length. This is the second lifetime products I have put together and this was the hardest. The other was like 6 years ago and was a piece of cake.

Engineered impressively well.

Purchased this shed to store the usual yard equipment, tools, and kid toys. I live in NH and so far it has held up well to the snow and ice. Also the inside remains bone dry. I was skeptical at first by not building a wood shed, but the time and money saved on this was well worth it, plus it will never need paint or need excessive maintenance.

Great product.

life time storage shed

Workable Shed but beware warranty not covered weather related issues

I live in Phoenix and after 5 years the heat has warped all roof panels to make a noticeable sag. Warranty rep says not covered. Only For missing parts or defective parts when delivered.....so much for Lifetime name!!!

We do try to value our customers by giving them free 10 year warranty on our sheds as a courtesy for choosing our products. However there are plenty of was to get the roof panels back into shape with out having to pay an excessive amount of money. Try contacting the customer service team and they can give you those tips so your shed can be as good as new again! They can be reached at 800-225-3865 or by email at customercare@lifetime.com. Customer Service hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (MT).

Love it.

I first checked to make sure all the parts were there or panels as far as the hardware. Very hard to understand The lack of markings on each bag to indicate what goes with what lack of thinking
