Purchased three 10' 4x4's; six 8 ft. 2x4's; and three sheets of plywood (all treated wood) to make a skid foundation. Total time, including foundation, it took my two carpenters I hired 28 hours to assemble this shed. One said he could have built a wooden shed in less time. But, I didn't want a wooden shed, I wanted a Resin one. So, I got what I wanted and I love it. Just be prepared for the time it takes to assemble it.

Like the shed but had a few problems. The first panel we put up was not the right height. I called about it and they indicated the height was within tolerance. It made the alignment roof very difficult where I had to figure out how to clamp things in place so I could get the roof pieces aligned. We also got shipped the wrong roof cap end piece. I called and they shipped the right one and only took a couple days to arrive.

I purchased the LIFETIME 60095 10 X 8 shed. I strongly suggest you go to the LIFETIME web site , locate the building and take a look at the approximate 9 minute video. The company also has an installation/assembly video plus there is a several part video on U-Tube. This will give you some indication of the complexity of the assembly of the building. There should be two people to do the assembly, other wise you will by involved in assembly for days. I am not going to go into detail about the description of the shed as you can find this on the web site for the company. The shed is of very good quality and should last many years. I would point out some features that I believe are worth discussing since, my old building, the one I am replacing, did not have these features. This building has numerous steel reinforcements throughout the roof and walls. Some of the steel will hold shelving which you may decide to purchase separately, mine came with two shelves. The doors work well as opposed to the old building I had and there is also light from three windows and two skylights, which I have not had in the past. I did have to “shimmy” up two of the sides to get the building a little more “flat”, so the doors would open better. Be sure and remove the protective coating sheets from the skylights and windows before installing. You will need a perfectly level surface on which to start assembly. I had 12” X 12” blocks set in sand for my previous building and while this worked OK it was not perfect. After assembly, we had to “shim” up one corner and some of the wall in order to get the walls to fit. When laying the floor out for installation it appears to be a rather simple and easy process. BE SURE and be ready to do the floor assemble as soon as possible We let the panels sit in the 90 degree plus temperature in Texas and one of the panels started to warp, making it very difficult to assemble the floor. After a period of time the floor came together.Site cut me off!

They came to install my shed yesterday and today I am one unhappy woman! I have waited so long to save up to purchase this shed and I am today thinking that I made a mistake on purchasing the right shed for my purpose. I have a business that sells fabric laces, and embellishments and wanted to use this shed for my stock. I live in California and we do not get much rain here. I thought that I better hose the shed off this morning to make sure it was not leaking before I started putting my stock in there. Guess what....yesterday one happy lady and today VERY DISAPPOINTED! The shed was leaking thru the windows, under the door and under the walls onto the floor! The doors have a large gap under them so the water and other creatures can come in. If you want to hose the concrete slab off you cannot otherwise you will get water coming in thru the bottom of the walls and front door. I got down on my hands and knees and I could see many places that the light is coming thru. I paid the extra money to have this installed as I thought I better have a professional do the job correctly. It seems as though this shed is a good looking product from the outside but will not hold up in heavy rain, only to protect the things inside from the sun. This shed has gaps in the floor and the doors which does not prevent water from coming into it. Please consider purchasing this product as you may be disappointed also!

I bough this two-box kit at SAMsClub last month and successfully built it by myself -- with help from my wife a few times (working on the roof to add back-pressure). She actually climbed up on the roof to do this a couple of times (probably not recommended). I was hoping I would have all the parts, and was disappointed to be missing a few of the bolts for the trusses, but random overages on other parts. I have a bag of these extra parts. Makes me wonder what the process is for packing. I actually used some of the extra parts to do the critical truss assembly and went on with the rest of the build. All-in-all I'm very happy with the quality of the materials, the extremely well-engineered parts that fit together perfectly, and the weight and stability of this product. Real skylight panels, high-quality plexi-glass windows, real vents and all waterproof. The only rough spots I encountered was that the parts are not labeled the same as the directions (numbers instead of letters in some cases), and inserting the quota pin under the doors. I never did get it into the left door, but am thinking it'll not be critical. This is a photo of the shed in my back yard.

I bought two and have just finished the first one. It is a bit of a chore but not overly complicated. With the help of my son and a couple views at the YouTube video for a section or two, we worked right through it. A lot of prep work for a level wood foundation paid off. No problems with the sides or the doors lining up. All parts were sent except there were two side panels reading left rear and no right rear panel. I assume left and right rear side panels are the same since I completed the shed with two left rear panels. The quality is very good in my opinion. Looks nice. I would buy again. I will post comments on the second one when it is done. (note: I built the foundation before seeing the instruction manual and made the foundation 3/4 inch bigger on each side than suggested in the manual. I see no problem being a few inches bigger since everything else matches with the manual's specs. You might look at the instructions on-line for building the foundation if you want to get a head start on the foundation.)

We have had our shed for a couple years now. We live in the country and get high wind gusts 50/60 miles an hour and have had no issues. You do need to follow building instructions & make sure you build a platform base out of treated lumber. There are good videos on line that helped a lot with construction. We also painted it red with white windows & door, to match our garage next to it. It painted beautifully, matched the garage perfectly & has held up so far. The only issue with painting was on the shutters we ordered separately & the circle vent at the top on one side. Both are made of a different plastic which doesn't hold paint well. We just ordered paintable shutters from Menards & gave the vent another coat or two after the 1st winter. We love our shed & use it often & would definitely buy again.

I purchased this building 4 days ago, I do not have it completely assembled and I have to write a review. The assembly instructions are the worse I have ever seen. I have 40 plus year of maintenance background and I am still assembling this building. I have no wifi in the area I am assembling. For $1000.00 why not include a CD. How simple it would be to number the parts. You reference in the instruction A** parts not one part started with an A. I was shorted 6 of the # 12 screws about 2" long. If I was not so far into this shed I would have put it back in the box and returned it.

The shed itself is fairly decent. However the assembly instructions are horrible, and need to be addressed. Cryptic 3 letter codes (AGK, DFW, etc.) are absolutely meaningless, and the tear out parts list is of no help, because it's just as bad. I've assembled items like this before and the manufacturer used adhesive labels (Right Front Door, Back Left Roof) to clearly tell where that piece is placed during assembly. If there are many fasteners of a single size, put them into one package, and not 12 smaller bags/pouches. That gets confusing. Based on the issues my finace and I had during assembly I don't know if I'd recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my shed 6 months ago, it holds my 42" riding mover my push mower and most all my yard tools as I had hoped. My only problem is that it leaked until I caulked the roof. Other than that it's been great. Assembled myself with very little help.
