My husband bought this for me for Mother's Day! I have owned several Roombas over the years which have all broken down for various reasons. Compared to the Rooma, the DEEBOT Is much lighter in weigh and has more easily accessible brushes and filters for regular cleaning. It has snap on features rather than screw on which again makes it easier to clean the front swivel brushes With three daughters in the house, it picks up an enormous amount of dust and hair. It has built in sensors so it will not fall down our stairs. I used to need to set up Manual sensors each time I used my Rooma to prevent It from falling down the stairs. The battery charges quickly and lasts for a very long time. It does get caught on the tassels of my carpet but so did my Roomba. This is easily remedied by flipping the carpet edge over. This DEEBOT also can be easily operated by timer, remote control or phone. I don't typically use these features but they are a nice option. I turn mine on when I leave the house in the morning and I am so happy to have a clean home when I return home. The price is also great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I set up “Rosie” a few weeks ago and it works nicely. It's still getting to know the house so it doesn't always make it back to the base before the battery runs out but it's starting to more so I think it just needs to get more used to the floor plan. It cleans well and makes it all over the house each time it cleans.

Honestly I always thought that robot vacuums are toys for grownups. But Deboot N79 surprised me in a very positive way. It worked better then the reviews suggested and we are very pleased with it. It is a perfect everyday companion to a full size vacuum. It is also fun to watch, it is a stubborn creature who insists on trying to enter every place and mostly succeeds. Overall a very satisfied owner.

My Deebot Vacuum, which I named Blaire, was a gift from a grandmother. Blaire showed promise initially, as I truly hate cleaning my floor. The vacuuming power was strong, though the sound is similar to a Boeing 737 turbine engine. She also began to become lost easily. I would click the "return to charging" button, and she would ram into the wall, turnaround and then ram in a connecting wall. This happened repeatedly. So I picked her up and put her back on the charger. This must have angered my new wall-ramming vacuum disk. At 5 AM (with no cleaning time scheduled), Blaire sprung into action with a determination to ruin my beauty sleep. She become entangled in a phone charger, angering the monster. She then let out an ear shattering screech, informing my entire city (maybe even state) of her hurdle. I rushed into the room thinking this was my fire alarm, only to see Blaire. Confused, I untangled her and did not connect her back to the charger. I assumed her battery power, similar to that of a russet potato, would be unable to continue if not charged. To my dismay, Blaire was undeterred. The next day, Blaire began her revenge tour and headed straight to my refrigerator, only to entrench the head of the vacuum in an aperture of my fridge. Blaire, being foiled by another trap, became infuriated. Her screeches echoed through my apartment. I can still hear them in my nightmares. I moved Blaire back into her box. Later, I began hearing a loud noise, as if someone was cranking a lawn mover two feet away from my bed. It was Blaire attempting to complete a jail break from her box prison. The box was rattling uncontrollably, as her anger was barely contained. I decided to do the responsible thing. I returned it so it be may be "recycled" and another fortunate soul may be blessed by her presence. Remember that if you purchase this, there is a 1 in 100,000 chance you get Blaire. Good luck :)

I have a lot of carpet. I could have hard wood floors but I like the warmth and feel of plush thick carpet on bare feet. I didn't think a bot could handle this house and I will admit I have to empty the tray frequently, (some weird satisfaction with emptying the tray lol) but I am very pleased with this product. I love the option of having it edge the walls so that baseboards and doors get the little feet brush things puling everything into the fill tub. The only problem I have is that I have a 5g booster wifi and this product's app will not work on a 5g network. It wants the 2.4g network so I can't use the app. I have to use the remote that comes with the bot which works fine. Under my bed is clean! My bedside table area CLEAN, Under my chairs are clean! Even under the dining table.. clean without my movings chairs! This little thing backs up and goes forward and doesn't give up till it gets where it wants to go. I call mine Sissy lol If it gets stuck it will beep and I yell I hear ya Sissy! OMW lol I have a good upright vacuum, but this bot somehow gets tiny things that my big vacuum doesn't. I can tell a difference on bare feet after this one is run but I still use my big vacuum once a week. Love the super clean look :)

I love this little vacuum. I picked it up for the sale price of $119, and it was cheaper than most refurbs out there. Came in and connected to wifi in a snap, plus is has a handy remote. You can even control the direction. I don't have carpet, just hardwood and it does it great job for that. It also hasn't scuffed up any of my furniture yet.

I had been thinking about purchasing a Robot vacuum for quite a while but did not want to pay a high price. I was not convinced it would be worth it, and not sure how my little dog would react. But I purchased this at Sam's last sale price. It is a workhorse and so glad I did it. You do have to pick up items as cords, dog beds, dog bowls, etc before running. I put him to work while I am doing other things and keep an eye on him. The dirt bin is easy to empty. Don't care about wifi, have not tried it. For the sale price, I am quite happy with it. I didn't pay a high price, and kept my expectations to reality. Thus far, I do not regret my purchase.

Cleans well but manages to burrow in and get stuck. Happy with purchase overall.

Easy to use, long lasting battery & good value for the price.

The IRobot is better going over thicker carpets but deebot does great on hardwood floors
