I brought this frame three weeks ago and I just open it to weeks later to put it down for a new mattress and the box came kind of wrap at the top and when I open up the box it was a dent in one of the rails and then the other long rails came kind of bent up as well it had a lot of great reviews on this rail but the packaging was horrible and it’s kind of suck because one of the bars is bent up in a couple of the long ones is bend as well It’s not even worth one star but I had to put one star to order to send it through

I received this smart base with a Zinus mattress. We noticed a definite sag in the mattress and a very definite high spot in the middle lengthwise. I am not small, 6'2" and 240 lbs. When we took this mattress and base down, I placed mattress on hard floor. Mattress had some sag and high spot in middle, but definitely not we were feeling when it was set up. I checked the smart base with a straight edge. It has about 3/8" of sag from side to side in areas under body and that caused the high spot up and down the mattress when set up. Like that the mattress has held up so well, but disappointed in the smart base. May try putting a 1/2" piece of plywood on top of base to spread load. Mattress was the 13.5" sping and foam version. Would probably buy again, but will definitely strengthen the base.

Comes as 2 twin beds. 2 screws/bolts to connect the 2 together as a queen size. Super simple! Definitely worth the money! Holds up well, and I am a “plus size” woman! I would suggest to oil it with WD40 as it will screak a bit. Other than that, I absolutely love it!

Perfect, look no further, easy install and much better than any box spring or other base. Even you have wooden head board and the base came with jr might come loose or wood get little bit bend, but this is perfect solution and complete peace of mind.
