These small to medium sized round treats are hickory smoke flavor, so they are super attractive to my 5.5 year-old English Bulldog. My bulldog has sensitive skin and a sensitive stomach, so the included biotin, salmon oil, and zinc are perfect for addressing his needs. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having a dog with skin issues has to be the most challenging problem to tackle. Our dog has allergies to so many things. It's hard to rule out the root cause. The ingredients in Vetiq Skin and Coat are great for dogs with and without allergies. It's essential that we disect everything our floof eats. Having a flop earred dog in and of itself is a challenge to keep dry and clean and keep healthy bacteria flowing. The treats have a smokey smell, as liquid smoke is one of the ingredients. Thus making it palatable for even picky eaters. We started slow with two treats a day and worked up to 4 a day, as we struggle with malabsorption issues as well. It's rare that she receives treats that stray from novel proteins. We had no issues with belly upset from these treats. We saw no vast improvement in her skin with the test product. We saw no issues either, making this a good treat nonetheless. This might be best as a long-term treat to truly mark it's efficacy.

Have a pretty picky lab and giving him treats that have health benefits are sometimes hit or miss but he loves this one. I like that it is good for his skin and coat and it seems delicious to dogs. My dog is in a chicken free diet. When I opened the package, there was a nice smoky smell to the chews. I have a 75 pound dog so she is to get 4 chews a day. I like the small size, i use a a treat after she does some tricks. When she gets a new treat, she inspects it before eating. She immediately ate the chew and was looking for more! It’s been 2 weeks and i notice her coat seems to be shining more and seems a little bit less itchy. I would definitely buy these chews again!

You have to use them a while to get the full effectiveness. It doesn’t work after just a few. I have a larger dog so he gets 4 a day.

He is a pretty picky dog when it comes to treats or supplements and he eats these right up. I like that it contains salmon oil for his skin and biotin too. I also like the added vitamins for immune health since my dog is a senior and can use the added vitamins. I give him one a day and happy that he’s getting something good for him.

I received VETIQ Skin and Coat Hickory Smoke Flavored Soft Chews from tryitsampling. My frenchie has dry skin. He loves the taste. I love the ingredients. After giving him one a day for two weeks I noticed his skin has less flaking. Friends noticed how shiny his coat is.

Dog loves these and his coat seems to as well. He is a Golden Retriever and is prone to skin conditions and these have only made his coat nicer. Sometimes certain treats or other additives in foods will/can cause a skin irritation for him. While feeding him these he has benefited from an awesome treat, but I do feel it has helped have a healthier coat and skin. Bottom line- safe for my sensitive dog and he loves them.
