I met a friend for a drink before Thanksgiving. Had a glass for the first time. Excellent taste and smoothness, reminded me of Jameson's 12 yr old, which you can no longer get, gave it 4 stars because it made me miss that 12 yr old whiskey so much.

Great whiskey, you can definitely taste the difference between this and regular Jameson with notes of caramel and nice woody notes. This is a drink to sip and enjoy the flavor. I don't find the product too expensive as it is a reserve, I would buy it again.

We love Jameson Whiskey, especially jameson-black-barrel-whiskey-750-ml. It has a gorgeous nutty flavor and a smooth finish. It’s perfect to drink neat or mixed in your favorite cocktail. A classic go to whiskey that I recommend to my friends and family.

This is my wife, Lyn-Ann's, favorite Jameson. She loves the smoky flavor. My personal favorite is Jameson Triple Triple. A little harder to find but we'll worth the effort. We just returned from a Royal Caribbean cruise and I brought home 2 bottles of Triple Triple.

jameson-black-barrel-whiskey-750-ml is great! The flavors are rich and smooth and are easy to add in for cocktail drinks. I like having it on the rocks while my friends like it stirred and not shaken. I highly recommend it and use it during get togethers

I first received this as a birthday gift because my friend know how much I like Jameson triple distrilled. The Black Barrel is so smooth. I enjoy it both with or without the rocks. It has a rich taste but not too overbearing. I don't smoke cigars but if I did I would imagine it would pair well with the Jameson Black Barrel.

I’ve been buying Black Barrel for years now, the smoothest and tastiest Jameson variety I’ve tried and my regular Irish whiskey purchase. Black Barrel is also affordable for such a high quality pour and, in my opinion, is the equal of some of the much higher priced Irish whiskey brands..

Never enjoyed whiskey much until with my mate Mikey and we enjoyed a chilly winter day at the distillery in Cork. Gained a better appreciation for whiskey after this experience. Gained an even more appreciation for the Jameson. Didn’t think it could get better and smoother and more enjoyable until I enjoyed the black barrel edition. This is the best. The best.

A week ago, my whiskey drining buddy and I happened upon an Irish whiskey purveyor here in Kansas City and we decided to compare. We tried the Jamesons, along with other brands (I'm not supposed to mention other brands but you can guess - some had colors in their name). By FAR, Black Barrel was the best, and that's even comparing it to Jameson 18 year reserve (sorry, 18). The smooth, richness with an appealing finish is what got my attention. And considering the price difference, well, you know the rest of the story. Just buy a bottle. If you don't like ti, send it to me.

I love my whiskeys. Usually sticking to the basic Jameson since it is smooth & a safe option, my dad surprised me with a bottle of this for my birthday within the last year, and it was a PHENOMENAL taste to experience. I've already requested a bottle for this year.
