Husbands favorite for the price

My wife and I were in Ireland and took the Jameson tour. After had a few different drinks my wife asked for an Irish coffee, the bartender served her black barrel with simple syrup , coffee and heavy cream. That is how we made them now and how we order them in Kentucky. Fantastic taste and finish!

Jameson Black Barrel is easily one of my favorite whiskeys. The extra charring really comes through and gives it a deeper, richer flavor compared to regular Jameson. I pick up smooth notes of vanilla, toasted wood, and a hint of sweetness that make it incredibly easy to sip neat or on the rocks. It has a warm finish without being harsh, which I really appreciate. For the price and quality, it is an excellent bottle to keep on hand.

I went to the Jameson Distillery and gave the Black Barrel a try while at their bar. I found out really quickly that it was a super smooth whiskey that I loved the flavor of. The taste of vanilla is perfect for sipping and it is such an enjoyable whiskey to taste.

Jameson Black Barrel Reserve is a great example of how Jameson keeps things fresh and exciting. It’s perfect for relaxing after a long day or celebrating something special. Definitely worth trying if you want a whiskey that’s smooth but still full of character. Always my Go To.
