This being another favorite for my liquor cabinet it's bottle is even inviting. It's smooth and has a woodsy taste it's perfect on the rocks or in a shot glass I wouldn't change anything about it. The flavor mixed with the smoothness of this whiskey is perfect for any social occasion 

I have been enjoying Black barrel for a few years now. I started my bourbon journey with Jameson's and a few other "affordable" Irish whiskeys. When I landed on Jameson's Black Barrel, I fell in love. The only Jameson product I like more is Red Breast 12. The palate is smooth and the finish is long and satisfying. I keep at least 2 on my shelves at all times.

As a loyal Jameson drinker I personally didn’t love this blend that they did. The black barrel is aged in a burnt oak cask, hence the name black barrel. I personally don’t like the charred, more oak forward taste it puts in the the whiskey but to each their own.

Regular Jameson is smooth but Black Barrel, to me, is smoother. It has a robust flavor and is great straight or over rocks. It is also great for a summer drink. i.e.: Jameson, ginger, and a bit of soda water. Fun to sip with friends or sip with a great book. Either way, you can't miss with Black Barrel Jameson.

I love all whiskey but some nights my inner Irish comes out and I crave Jameson. This exceeds my expectations for such a good value. This sleek bottle contains some of the best Irish whiskey you’ll ever try. Try it out with some ginger ale, or my favorite a pickle back shot!

I've been an Irish Whiskey drinker for MANY years, having been converted from the Jack Daniels Black Label Tennessee Sour Mash to the 'original Yellow Label Jameson whiskey' back in the 70's. Trying 'new' Jameson products at some of my favorite Irish pubs in the SE Michigan area, I first discovered and enjoyed the Black Label Special Reserve and it quickly replaced the Yellow Label product as my preferred Jameson whiskey. When the labelling for the Black Label Reserve was replaced with the 'standard' Black Label Whiskey, I offered 'blind tastings' of both to my closest whiskey-drinking friends to see if they could taste the differences between the two Jameson whiskeys that I had experienced. We were all in agreement: there was a subtle difference! I bought up all the bottles of BL Special Reserve and keep them 'locked away' for very special occasions. For 'everyday whiskey', it is the Black Label Irish in the liter bottles, now available in Michigan.

I first tried this at the Jameson distillery outside cork. we bought a couple of bottles duty free to take home with us. Since then, we always have one bottle in the house. It is our go-to sipping whiskey. We just can’t get over how smooth it tastes, great flavor, etc. for the cost of a bottle. Incredibly worth it.

I was never a Jameson drinker. I received a Valentine's day gift of a bartesian (it is a machine that makes mixed alcohol drinks) and it recommeded using Jameson Black with the Old Fashion pod. The Old Fashion was so delicious ! I started drinking Jameson Black on the rocks and with other mixers. The taste is so smooth. Love my Jameson Black Barrel!

Popped open this bright, rich Jameson varietal and my glass cheered (I did too!). Smooths out any cocktail when you add this great addition to the Jameson line, while retaining the nuanced taste of the aging barrel used in its aging. Try it in an Old Fashion, for example. Or, just over ice. Or, neat, after dinner. Hooray for the Black Barrel.

When I was traveling on a cruise I took a tour in Cork. That is when I was introduced to Jameson. This whisky has a smooth taste. In my opinion I liked the expensive taste with the moderate price tag. This Irish drink will have you dancing a gig in no time.
