I got turned into Hameson Black Barrel because of it 90+ rating by Wine Spectator and have been hooked ever since. It’s my go-to for fun cocktails as well as sipping with a touch of ice. Flavorful, smooth and always surprisingly delicious - my #1 choice whenever it’s available!

Not a hard liquor drinker at all, seriously. Was introduced to Jameson and developed a taste for this sweeter tasting whiskey. Then tried Cold Brew with some dark chocolate and fell in love. Just tried Black Barrel, and bought a large bottle. For a non-drinker (except for wine), I've become a Jameson fan.

As the great great great...great...(throw a few more "greats" in there) nephew of John Jameson, I take my Jamesons whiskey seriously. After all, it is the family drink. I first experienced Black Barrel as an import gift from a friend. The bottle unfortunately was subject to a bit of warmth during the day before we got a chance to sample it. Let me say this, no whiskey should taste that good warm and we managed to kill the bottle in a matter of a a couple hours between friends. Simply fantastic. If you have never sampled Jamesons before, this is the dram to have.

Jameson is good when you’re sad, when you’re happy, when you’re celebrating, in your coffee, as a shot, with ginger beer. Jameson is just straight up good good whiskey. It’s always my go to and is refreshingly smooth and always consistent. Just like me.

I first received this as a birthday gift because my friend know how much I like Jameson triple distrilled. The Black Barrel is so smooth. I enjoy it both with or without the rocks. It has a rich taste but not too overbearing. I don't smoke cigars but if I did I would imagine it would pair well with the Jameson Black Barrel.

Just returned from the Dublin Irish Festival and kudos to Jameson for their sponsorship of this outstanding event. Great selection of Jameson products and especially loved the availability of Black Barrel shots. So so good. Easy to drink and love the taste. Thanks.

Obviously this has got to be the best Jamo ever. It's the first one to disappear from store shelves. It's exciting when Jameson comes out with new ideas like the Jameson Ginger & Lime, but there's nothing like pouring a Jameson Black Barrel into my glass and sit back and relax...

I have had a good number of the offerings from Jameson. My favorites are the Crested (cannot in the US unless you special order), the gold reserve that is no longer being made and black barrel (can get in the US).. Overall this is my favorite Irish whiskey producer by far as they have something for everyone's liking. I can't wait to visit the distillery in Dublin again soon.

I first starting drinking regular Jameson Irish Whiskey as a mule (Ginger beer and a lime). Decided to try Jameson Black Barrel. Nice smooth taste and I drink this specifically on the rocks. A friend of mine took a trip to Ireland and stopped at the Jameson Irish distillery. He brought me back a bottle of Jameson Irish Whiskey that is not sold here in the states. The bottle's label had my name on it and of course the box it came in had my name listed as well. What was better than having my name on the label was the taste was even smoother than Black Barrel.

Really delicious whiskey this is my husband favorite brand. Mixes so good with a dark cola or just alone on the rocks. It is a bit spendy but its perfect as a gift for him, or you if you enjoy dark liquor. Would buy again, I know my local liquor store sells out of this every week!
