some of the best ever! smooth, silky, charasmatic! great 4 get together's with long time friends; but also great for adult stories in the back yard, around a roaring fire! this company cares about its customers,and its reflected in this whiskey!  it's awesome!

I really like Jameson, so I gave this a try and it is incredible. So smooth! It's best chilled, with a big ice cube so it doesn't get watered down too much, in my opinion. I've never had a reason to mix it with anything, but I bet it would be excellent and blend well in a mixed drink as well.

I have enjoyed Jamesons for 30+ years. Living in the US it is difficult to find non-sour mash, especially living in rural areas. Bought a bottle of Black Barrel 2 weeks ago, and it makes the BEST old fashioneds I have ever had! Didn't think I could enjoy Jamesons more than I already do. Good stuff!

I've been drinking Jameson Black barrel almost exclusively for nearly a year now, and I'm confident when I say it will continue to be my go to for years to come. I love coming home and pouring myself a glass of it and goslings ginger beer after a long day of work.

I love to make a Jameson and ginger but I feel as if the normal Jameson doesn't cut it like the black barrel does. The flavor profile is so much better on the black barrel than the normal Jameson that it's had to go back to the cheaper bottle. The black barrel goes down smooth for how much flavor is in it.

Loving the Black Barrel, as a wine & spirit ambassador (S. Florida) I rep many brands and always find a hit with most Jameson samplers, especially the Orange and Black Barrel. It full body, slight smokey weight on my pallet offered the next level of depth. So happy Jameson Brand has branched out in so many directions, a good choice for any Whiskey lover for sure!

This is just a great go to drink neat or over a large cube of ice. It just makes you feel relaxed and that the crap of the day does not matter for a while. Great to drink with friends and share a joke or just take the quiet time of the day and look at the sea or sunset!!! I have been drinking J I W for a long time!!!

I think the black barrel is missed by a lot of folks. If I am out somewhere and skeptical of the cocktail/inventory situation, the minute I see they have a black barrel on the shelf, I order it neat. I think people overlook this bottle and it is quite good. I had the opportunity to bottle my own bottle of black barrel while onsite at the distillery and it is delicious! The flavor profile is just a whole different level from regular Jameson.

This is the smoothest Irish Whiskey available, I enjoy as a shot. I have a couple marble shot glasses in my freezer when I'm in the mood ( this occurs daily ) I pull out my marble shot glass fill it and let it sit for a few minutes. This brings out the full flavor and notes of the whiskey.

Jameson Black Barrel is a tasteful whiskey that can be brought to any get together or consumed after a long day of work. Having this on the rocks is the ideal choice as you get a sweetness infused in the whiskey. For the quality of the whiskey you don’t pay as much as you would think. It’s a great deal and a great whiskey!
