We purchased this unit after Ian devastated the Cape. Our home was spared with little damage however we didn't have power for over a week. This little guy had enough power to keep us cool with fans and not only our refrigerator but our neighbor's as well. We didn't need to use the propane as we did find enough fuel to keep it going. After running it that long I did change the oil and fogged it prior to putting it away. I just fired it up 6 months later and no problems at all. Hopefully it won't be needed this hurricane season.

I purchased the 3500-WATT DUAL FUEL GENERATOR June 2021. We live in an area that is frequently impacted by hurricanes. So today Aug 28, 2021 I take the 3500-WATT DUAL FUEL GENERATOR out of the box fill it with fuel and oil and it wouldn't start. I even went to the store and purchased propane and it still didn't start. I've followed all instructions, but nothing. I did however find one video that instructed me to disconnect the "black cable" and it ran. My only problem is that "black cable" is where the power comes from right? Hurricane Ida is scheduled to make landfall in 24-36 hours, any assistance would he great.

This is a great buy for the price. Only used it on propane so far. It is much quieter than other generators I own. Wish it came with wheels. Awkward to move without them. Easy to set-up and use the first time and started with ease. Have recommended this unit to several friends and family.

This is not the biggest generator on the market, but for the size and value, it's perfect for keeping essentials powered up in case of power failure or emergency. Last year, we were without power for a few days and besides the constant inconveniences, we also lost hundreds of dollars in food from our refrigerator and freezer, never again. Love that it runs on either gas or propane, I can never predict how much gas I'll have on hand with always using it in mowers, etc but it's easy to keep a full propane cylinder on hand to make sure we can keep power on for hours until we can fill up gas cans.

I use it for backup power during power outages for refrigerator and freezer. It actually sat in the box for a year before I used it. So far, I have only used it with propane, as I hate draining gasoline when the unit is stored for a long time. A major factor in purchasing the unit was its multi-fuel capability. The unit started right away after I filled it with the provided oil (which was a plus). I thought the on/off switch was broken until I read the instructions that explained the switch does not stop the engine when on propane. I am fully satisfied with the unit. The only complaint I have is that it is a little noisy.

I got this generator for camping and outages, and it has done great for both. I was able to run it during a few power outages and keep the lights on and the fans running to keep my family cool. I also have used it for camping at the racetrack with no power. It does great! It ran the 15K BTU AC unit and everything else we threw at it.

Took this generator camping this past weekend and it ran my whole camper lights, A/C, Fridge, Tv, microwave and charged phones at the same time, Really Quiet, ran for 9 hours plus on one tank of gas I recommend it to anyone that wants a good working generator for a great price, the only thing I need to do is get the wheel and tires kit for it,

This generator was easy to set up and operate. The quick guide and manual are very detailed. I use propane for my ovens and other equipment, so having a propane generator to compliment my other gas-powered ones created flexibility. I plugged in my refrigerator and as well as a large freezer box separately to test and it ran very well. I highly recommend these generators for all homeowners and RV trailers, the decibel level was also quite low compared to other models I have used in the past. Highly recommended.

I bought this unit mainly because of the dual fuel which will give me lots of flexibility after a hurricane or a storm. It does take a few more pools to start it on propane but it's great fuel system. Having the ability to also power my camper for when we wanna boondock is a plus.

Easy to unpack and the fast instructions allowed me to set it up real quick once we lost power. I really didn't want my food in my fridge and freezer to spoil and this reasonable sized and priced generator came very handy during the emergency. It was relatively easy to start and the instructions are very clear as well as its Diagrams. Thank you Champion for such a great product, I'll be on the look for my free t-shirt
