I live in the mountains of Western North Carolina. My home is spring-fed, which comes down from 3500" to a 1000 gal. polypropylene tank about 300' up from the house. The tank developed a major crack by which only plastic soldering is the only remedy to patch the cracks. I purchased the 3500watt generator for the purpose of having electricity up on the mountain. Took it up there with my ATV and cart. The repair was a total success. My other motive for purchasing the 3500-watt unit is to take it further up the mountain to build an elevated hunting blind. This unit will be sufficient to handle my power tools. The weight is not over burdensome to handle, so I feel very pleased. The power per size is excellent for use on my mountain. I definitely would recommend this unit for the outdoors.

Late June, so temp and humidity were through the roof, and we needed something that would drive a portable AC unit. This machine was dead simple to use, but too heavy for one person to handle. My wife and I got it out of the bed of the truck and I unboxed it. I made sure to get a quart of 10W-30 since it's not included. The fill port is a little awkwardly placed, but the included funnel worked a treat. After filling the oil and the gas, I followed the directions posted on the generator and it fired right up. It's a little louder than a standard push-mower, but some long extension cords helped alleviate that issue. This thing had no problem operating my 12,000 BTU portable AC as well as associated fans. Haven't put a major load on it yet, but I don't have many qualms.

Purchased to use as a backup power source when electricity is out. Compact, convenient size, nice design, sufficient load rating for our needs. The dual fuel source is a nice option. We also purchased the wheel kit so one person can move it (can be heavy for one person to move without the wheels).

This generator was exactly what I've been looking for, and more, at a fair price. I wanted one with enough power to supply a dedicated 20 amp emergency circuit in my home that I could branch off to power necessities (furnace, fridge) and a few luxuries (phone chargers, wifi, tv) during a power outage. This offers the power I need, plus a little extra so it wont be overloaded. Its light enough to move by myself. I dont have an RV to power, but it's really nice to run this generator off of propane and gasoline. I always have an extra tank for the grill, so that's an added piece of mind as a backup to running out of gasoline. I bought the generator and put it in my detached garage til the next day when I had time to open it up. The temperature hasn't been above 25° during the day. I opened up the box, filled it with oil, put fresh gas in it and it fired up on the first pull. It ran strong and I'm happy with the purchase.

With everything going on we decided to buy freezer and stock a little food. Did lose power generator worked flawlessly. Was able to power freezer and fridge no problem problem probably had more power we could have used. The option of using propane was is a bonus. Gas is going up propane has stayed somewhat constant. STILL waiting for wheel kit! only complaint.

Bought this cause I live in FL and we have hurricanes and stuff. Love the duel fuel as I can store propane for way longer than gasoline. Runs my portable AC just fine, worse thing in FL with no power is sleeping in the terrible heat that comes after a storm.

Just purchased based on reviews and the fact it had dual fuel ability. Was great it included the connector to propane and oil along with a manual, I did t have to download online. It was at a great price. Needed to upgrade to larger watt generator, this had such good reviews and price couldn't pass it up.

We bought this generator to operate an RV and other equipment at our farm when there are power outages, which is common in the winter in our rural location. The product was easy to unpack, very little steps to get it ready and easy to understand user manual. Love it!

While not as quiet as the Honda series I was considering for our camper the better price point (60% cheaper) and option to use propane or gas made this a generator a hands down winner. Next up is a transfer switch to wire it into the house for storm backup. This is also lighter than a similar style generator family members have. I do wish the included propane hose was longer, and that wheels were shipped with it, but that is by no means a deal breaker!

Bought this generator to power our freezer and refrigerator due to the many power outages. Champion created a reliable solution to stop worrying about neighborhood power outages. Now this generator is being used for our class a motorhome because it powers everything we need. Its more quiet than the 1987 Onan generator that the motorhome came with.
