I have owned my generator for less than two years. I've never had to use it except for periodically starting it up and letting it run. I have had many problems getting the generator started. After troubleshooting, I noticed that the generator starts fine on propane, but not on gas. Customer service has advised to clean the carburetor. I've done that, and still not working. Giving it 4 stars because customer service seems very willing to help and I'm optimistic we will get it going again.

We had been looking for generators for our business and came across the Champion 100401 dual fuel option. This was exactly what we had been searching for and decided to purchase 4 of them to run specific parts of our operation. These have worked out great.

I only recently bought it and started it up to test it out. It is a little loud and I'm slightly concerned my neighbors will say something, but if the power goes out their annoyance will probably turn to jealousy lol It is SUPER HEAVY. I'll be buying the wheel kit soon. We decided on this one for the power output and the ability to use gas or propane.

I've used this a few times when the power has been out at our house. We live in an area where the cell reception is pretty much non-existent so we rely on using the internet/wifi to make calls, send text messages, surf web, etc. So when the power goes out, especially at night because of storms, we have no way of knowing what is going on. So I just fire up the generator, plug in the essentials and all is good. This has been one of the best purchases I have made. And with the dual fuel, I know I will always have at least one fuel source available.

I am very pleased with my Champion 3500 Watt Duel Fuel Generator. So for it has been used for three power outages and powered the furnace for over 12 hours. I also used it to power my 1500 Watt corded chain saw. I have recommended this unit to others.

I purchased this unit just in time for Hurricane Ida. A tornado touched down close to us and caused severe damage. This generator has worked flawlessly since it was unboxed, and has given us absolutely no problems for the last several days we have been running it. This generator is a very fair price point for a surprising amount of functionality.

This Machine is great work really well power my house when I have power out save my pipe for my swimming pool when the temperature drop down and my new champion generator keep running to supply power for my swimming pool pump and heater for my house keep my family warm in house

I recently bought this generator from SamsClub and got it for aa fair price. I am not unstill to working with generators. However, having the option to have two types of fuel sources is excellent idea. I think this will serve my needs just find for the future years to come. I will be using my generator to support my portable power boxes and my essentials such as fridge and internet. Looking forward to the service of the generator and the two factor fuel format.

I used this product during a power outage at my home and my daughter home and we're very satisfied it gave us a peace of mind knowing we didn't have to leave our home and seek other means of shelter I have small grandkids who is afraid of the dark and an elderly mother that wouldn't be able to with stand being in a home with no running lights or air conditioning I even invited my neighbors to my home as I was the only home that had lights during a power outage in our neighborhood and they was very thankful that I was able to provide them and their family as they to have kids and elderly grandparents whom reside with them we we're able to enjoy cooking and playing games and was very comfortable having my champion generator now I see why the name is called champion because it works like a champ and I'm very pleased with it thank you

Excellent product. Have owned several generators - we're prone to hurricanes and you never know if you'll have power or not and never how long. Past generators used only gasoline and Michael (Cat 5) proved the gasoline could get scarce in a hurry. Propane, on the other hand, was readily available. Thus my purchase of the Champion dual fuel. Now, to not have to test it out for real in a hurricane! :-)
