I bought this for my motorhome and when I got it, the thing just started right up after putting the oil in and on propane. This is going to give us a awesome time out in the woods. Hope we get many years of use which I think we will.. Going to get the cover for it too.. Champion is a Champ..

I purchased my Champion Generator for emergency home power. I recently just opened it up from sitting in my garage for 3, or so, years. I followed the simple instructions, and it started right up. I did the break-in and swapped the oil out, with no problems. My only complaint is having to open the gas cap to see how much fuel is left in there. You never really know how much fuel is left, except by completely filling it and counting the gallons of fuel because it always looks to be a 1/4" from full or when the fuel runs out. So, since I have been running it for the past 3 days [we lost power], i had to fill it every 6-8 hours, or so, with a varying 3.5 amp - 15 amp pull [appliances running= 1xGE 26 cu.ft. refrigerator, house furnace fan, natural gas water heater, 1x window a/c 1-ton unit, and an internet tv with our phones charging]. This generator handled all of that like a champ. I wait till the fuel level is at the bottom of the fuel filter before refilling. Maintenance is easy-peasy thanks to the operator's manual. The manual has all the part numbers, wiring diagram and maintenance intervals needed inside. Bravo!

I am just writing this review to get a t-shirt. I bought the generator since it had good ratings on Consumer Reports. It is noisy and should come with wheels since it weighs over 100 pounds but I knew this and will add the wheels myself. If it will save my fridge and freezer food during the next blackout, it will be worth the money.

Purchased for hurricane preparedness. Appreciate the convenience of dual fuel. So fay, using with 20# propane tanks. Two tanks a day power a 6K AC, Refrigerator, LED lights, Flat Screen TV and charging all our devices. Started after 3 pulls, starts with one pull after swapping tanks. Nice and convenient.

Dual-fuel option is amazing. User friendly and manageable to operate if my husband has to deploy.
