A gift from my kids grandparents. Been a crazy few months. Finally got to build this monstrosity. Directions were easy to follow. Kids couldn’t wait for the build to be finished. They played in the first little club house as soon as it was complete. They were so excited to use the stairs. They really get moving going down the slide. The love the swings and are oldest like to jump out of the swing when she’s done. The neighbor comes over and enjoys the set too. Glad to have our own park in our own backyard. Easy but time consuming build( well worth it ). Sturdy and fun.

We purchased this set during a Black Friday sale and put it together ourselves in April when it got warmer. The first construction day, we hosted a drop-in party for family and friends to help put it together and it did take a little longer than the instructions approximated despite having very capable dads put in some hours. The second day we worked hard to finish the rest. We have an 18 month and 3 year old who enjoy it very much. The doors, openings, and ceiling are on the shorter side, so perfect for our kids, but older children would be a little cramped inside. The double swing is a nice feature and we switched out one of the regular swings for a baby swing with harness for more variety. The app was very helpful and I highly suggest organizing all the boards and hardware beforehand. Otherwise, you will be spending so much time searching for each piece instead of really building. The downside to the app was, it was not identical instructions to the paper/booklet of instructions provided with the set. One must be more updated, but when we found ourselves searching for a piece that we couldn’t find or did not have enough of, usually when we referenced the hard copy directions, it had something else in its place. Otherwise, a fair amount of work, but worth it in the end as the final product seems sturdy and fun for the kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this a few months ago and my grandsons love it. Only one change I would recommend. The window in the small fort on the side with the bench should be up higher. Kids could easily fall out if sitting on the bench. We added a board the the bottom of the window to prevent this from happening. Otherwise love it.

This purchase was so disappointing. I would never buy anything else from this company. I am a newly single parent and had to move this last October. I wanted to put something nice and sturdy outside for my 4 yr old son to play on. I payed several people to put this together and when I got home I was almost in tears. The money that I spent could have been spent on something much much better for my child. Since I don't have 2 incomes any longer, this is especially disappointing that I am stuck with this piece of junk. The wood, doesn't even seem like real wood, it is super soft and very poor quality. The Thousands of screws and parts are ridiculous. Some of the pieces could have come in together like the roofs for the forts. I am going to have to use reinforcements under underneath because it is not safe for children. I have spent way too much money and should have just bought the lumber and hardware and designed one myself. I cannot believe this company is allowed to see this as safe to children. Half of the stuff you have to adjust and the holes are not right on some of it and they could at least put all the wood that are certain letters together. This company should compensate something. I am going to have to spend money on lumbar to reinforce several places and it make it safe. Never Ever Again will I purchase this or waste good money. This is not worth several hundred dollars.

Kid tested mother approved! This set has given many hours of enjoyment! Very sturdy. Great design. You won't be disappointed Backyard Discovery knows how to delivery! This is our second play set as the first one was taken in a storm. I didn't hesitate to go back to Backyard Discovery!!

We bought this last year and took 2 of us exactly 18 hours to put together. The instructions weren’t the clearest so we relied on both the Bilt App and book it came with. Some pieces split while putting together and Backyard Discovery was great about sending new pieces pretty quickly so we could finish the build! Overall would definitely recommend and our kids love the set!

We love this product. I recommend to use the professional workers to put it together. I did it myself and It wasn't that difficult but it requires time. At the end my daughter loves the Malibu Backyard. I highly recommended. Also, the customer help is very useful if you have any issues.

Bought this for my kids for Christmas ! I sent the kids away for 3 days while me , my fiance, my mom and step dad put it up and together ! Definitely was worth seeing there faces on Christmas morning! They love it ! Only a couple day install time lol, but wasn’t bad at all! Great price! Great fun for the kids ! Us adults even get in it and go down the slide !

Bought this playset for our grandkids and they are THRILLED with it. It took some time to complete the assembly, but it was well worth it to see them play on it and to hear the excitement in their small voices as they climb, slide and swing. We are ALL looking forward to many years of pleasure out of this!

We purchased the set on sale. Instructions are long and somewhat confusing. Make sure you read ahead before building something if you are unsure. Overall it is a great set for the price. My 18 month old can climb the stairs and loves the slide. 3 year old says its the best playground ever.
