My old Cuisinart drip-brew coffee maker finally gave out after many years of excellent service and I started shopping online for its replacement. The Barista 4-in-1 was a little more pricey than I had first intended, but then I realized, '4-in-1, I'm really buying four machines!' which made the price point very agreeable. The machine itself was amazingly simple to set up and looks very sharp on my kitchen counter. Both its water reservoirs (for drip brew and for forced K-cup/Espresso pods) are easily filled, no muss, no fuss. The mechanics of getting the actual drink are completely uncomplicated and 100% consistent. Cup after cup, no matter the mode, is always perfect. Even the clean-up after steaming milk for a latte, cappuccino, or mocha is an effortless breeze. The steamer stem is long enough to prevent froth overflows, and a quick wipe with a clean damp paper towel returns the wand to its original pristine condition immediately. Returning to economics, I save time and waste less undrunk leftover coffee than ever before and for a quick 'cuppa', nothing beats the wonderful single-serve options in 6, 8, or 10 oz sizes, or the no-hassle espresso pods for a single or 'doppio' shot. Oh, yes, I can also change-up my game and make tea or excellent cocoa! Thank you, Cuisinart!

I initially purchased this 4-in-1 coffee maker to learn how to make my favorite coffee chain drinks. It's easy to use, functions very well, and is simple to clean. The only issue that I've found is sometimes the espresso pod gets stuck but with a little effort it comes right out.

Easy to use. I had my own refillable pods from the Cuisanart coffeemaker before this one, otherwise you have to buy them, which is lame considering the price. I thought the espresso pod feature also meant refillable pods, but its not, it’s a single pod/disposable pod, which is wasteful, so I will just use my on-stove espresso pot unless I can find an aftermarket Nespresso style refillable pods to buy.

This is a really good full size 4 in 1 coffee maker. I love having a full-size carafe along with the option to use K cups or Nespresso pods. I’m actually on my second machine, but with Cuisinarts three year warranty I was able to get a replacement. One of the challenges I had with an earlier version was that the milk wand was difficult to use. They have made improvements on their latest model the SS – 4N1 to the milk wand, it’s now much easier to maneuver and provides vertical tilt instead of just lateral. I would recommend this coffee maker for people who want to have the convenience of one machine that can do everything for their coffee needs. It’s a great option instead of having multiple machines and devices, you have everything in one location and one device.

I would have rated the Cuisinart a 4.5 (out of five) but I could only use whole numbers. It's a great coffee maker, certainly an improvement from my earlier Cuisinart coffee maker. I love the feature of steaming my milk and the convenience of using coffee pods when I am lazy. Add the espresso maker feature and I am almost putting Starbucks out of business :o) The reason I didn't give the coffee make a perfect score was the water fill level indicator. Making six cups (which I usually do each morning) gets a little tricky. I can clearly see the water fill to levels 2 thru 4 but getting to level six (cups) requires I keep my eye on the fill line least I might over fill my mark and delude the strength of my coffee. Beyond level six to ten is easy to see and stop. Not a game changer but certainly something the design team can improve upon in version 2.0. Cheers!

I purchased this unit for our staff room. After much discussion and research, we all decided this machine would suite all of our needs; espresso, k-pods, hot water, and carafe. The water reservoir is easy to refill, the carafe is sturdy, and the pod area is conveniently located where both types of espresso & k-pods can be utilized. The steamer option has been a big hit for both milk, and Americanos! With a staff of 50 using it daily, it has held up amazing well. So glad we found this multi-purpose piece of heaven.

I love that I can have boiled water (which I use to warm my coffee cup!), I can have espresso drinks, make a quick keurig, or a pot. So far, it's been super easy (we've had it a month) and use it every day. I'm super satisfied. I will say, my husband was skeptical because he does not like change, but he's convinced too.

We have utilized almost every function of this coffee maker. My husband brews himself a pot of coffee every morning. Since I don't tend to drink that much early on I use the individual pod. I have also made myself an espresso as well as using the steam wand to make a cappuccino. It is convenient and really quite easy to use. Nice to be able to have these drinks at home rather than going out to a coffee shop.

I replaced my delonghi coffee/espresso machine with this setup. I couldn't be happier. Having the ability to make espresso, a pot of coffee or a single cup is awesome. Everything works great and takes up minimal space. I'd highly recommend this product.

This is a really great barista bar that any coffee nut would love which is why I bought it for my husband. We've owned several Cuisinart coffee makers over the years and they seem to be the best, that have held up for us over the years. The hubby drinks a ton of coffee and this gives him options. The only downside for him, is there isn't a selection for a 12oz cup. Lol
