Fat Tire Ale is a great everyday summer beer that goes well with BBQ or chips & salsa! Highly recommend!

When I was in college, I drank beer. Shocker right? And like a lot of people who go to college, I had what I considered at the time a “hipster” roommate. That’s to say, someone more open minded, outgoing, and eccentric than me. Over the course of a year, we became best friends, and drank a lot of beer together. After months of drinking big name, commercial brands, he let me take a sip of a Fat Tire he was enjoying, and it rocked me to my core. I even asked, “what’s going on with this beer? Why’s it so much better?” I had tried ipas and other different styles to the basic light lager that gets guzzled by the gallons daily on college campuses, but Fat Tire was truly the first beer I had that I considered complex and inviting. I can remember where I was and PinPoint that exact moment where a craft beer put the hook in me. Now, fifteen years later, I’m the head brewer at a brewery trying to leave my mark and produce the best beer I can for the next generation of beer drinkers, as well as the older generations still around to enjoy it. I'm a big fan of fat tire. we most recently got a case for a round of golf and it was the perfect amount of taste while not being too heavy (it was a push cart round so lots of walking and beer swishing in the stomach). it's definitely my go to casual drinking beer!

It's got a great aroma and I love drinking it straight from the bottle. I love the look of the new branding as well, as it's appealing and catchy and I feel proud holding it in my hand at a party or hangout. It's easily drinkable and one that I can enjoy on any occasion, as it's not overly strong or heavy. It is crisp and refreshing and I will continue to enjoy in the future.

It tastes better quality then the popular choices (bud light, coors light, etc.) because it doesn't taste as watery. Again, the flavor is smooth with a subtle ale taste throughout (first taste and aftertaste). I might describe this taste as a wave of pleasantness. It tastes almost flowery and slightly sweet the more I drink. This would be a good choice for someone who wants a versatile flavor and lightness. I would like this with pizza or pasta to offset something that has full, fatty ingredients.

I bought this today and I was thirsty and it definitely quenched my thirsty very refreshing! It goes down easy.. No after taste. No bitterness. Definitely one that I will purchase for years to come and share with my friends. I’d like it better than some preferred mix in meters.

When I saw that they work to reduce emissions, I was on board. Same taste, environmentally friendly. What not to like? I think the taste changed to something lighter, which I prefer over the previous version. I'd enjoy this more regularly.
