The added complexity was a nice change. Would suggest regular VSOP for cocktail as the subtle notes that step his cognac up would not shine.

It’s similar to whiskey or scotch up front but goes down smoother and has a very rich, sweet aftertaste with hints of vanilla and cherry. I drank it neat after dinner, and also tried it in a variation of an Old Fashioned and both were enjoyable! This is a great addition to my liquor cabinet and I’m excited to try experimenting more with it.

The cognac has a rich color of deep copper, reminiscent of the copper stills it's produced in. This cognac is sharp and flavorful. The tasting notes reminds me of toasted brioche bread, buttery honey, bright fruits and caramel with some oak. A really good cognac for the price. The perfect pour for a relaxing evening with friends and loved ones.

The cognac has a great flavor and aroma and is a good value for its money. Highly recommend it for an every day drinker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fruity aroma and oaky notes are the first scents I got when opening the bottle for the first time. At first taste I got oak and fruit, similar to a whisky, and ends with a more caramel flavoring. Smooth but does burn a bit going down when drinking it neat. I got the 375ml bottle and a little definitely goes a long way so you can enjoy this over and over again. I think next time I may try mixing with ginger ale or something to give it a little twist. I will say this was my first experience with cognac and it did not disappoint. Definitely worth trying for yourself!

As I swirled the cognac in my glass, I was surprised of the sweet fig aroma. As I tasted the cognac it was strong but perfectly sweetened and ended with a creamy finish. I am really glad I gave this a try because it is a wonderful spirit.
