Cranberries are naturally low in sugar and require sweetening for consumers to enjoy the taste and reap the benefits. There is no scientific evidence that suggests high fructose corn syrup acts differently in the body than any other sweetener. Based on consumer request, we removed high fructose corn syrup from our juices and juice drinks several years ago, replacing it with cane or beet sugar. However, high fructose corn syrup remains the best sweetener for our cranberry sauces and its continued use allows us to provide the quality product you expect from us.
