I buy this same product every year and so did my mom but it never looked like this. I opened the can and ran a knife around the edges and this is how it looked when it came out. Now I’m afraid to serve it as I am unsure if it is good or not. Not Thanksgiving dinner without cranberries!

I usually love this sauce, but it came out of the can in a soup consistency. It was just straight up liquid and smelled a little weird. We opted out of eating it, and luckily we’d bought another brand’s cranberry sauce which was the normal jelly consistency. Kind of disappointed because this sauce is like my favorite on Thanksgiving.

I just opened a can of jellied cranberry sauce, and it was runny and not properly gelled. This has never happened before, and it made me very concerned. I threw away the product. I would love to know if this is still safe to eat, or of this means it was spoiled. The can was not dented, and was good through March 2025.

We have always bought Ocean Spray Jellied Cranberry Sauce. My mother, my mother in law, myself and my children always use Ocean Spray. In fact one Thanksgiving a guest made homemade cranberry sauce and my family had never seen that before. They said not to let anyone bring cranberry sauce again. They only wanted the one with the lines.

No matter what Ocean Spray says about the safety of High Fructose Corn Syrup, may studies say otherwise. Not too mention there's way too much liquid in it and is super sour. Honestly, the generic brands are better and I won't be buying Ocean Spray cranberry sauce again. Plus it's twice as expensive as the generic brands. All in all, there's no reason to buy the Ocean Spray brand any longer.

Your company used to distribute a combination cram/raspberry sauce. The combination of the two provided a wonderful balance of tart and sweet that my family loved. I have looked and looked for this product but to no avail. Is it possible that it might be brought back to the market?? If not , ca you give a recipe so that it can be made at home?

I bought this cranberry sauce ever year but this year it was different. I brought cans out from a package I bought of it and it sounded like water, as if only half of the can was jellied. The other half was liquid. I check all the review and I don’t think this has happened to anyone. This was my favorite part of thanksgiving and now it’s RUINED.

Cranberry sauce, bagged cranberries, cranberries however you slice them, no one knows cranberries and threats the berry with such respect like Ocean Spray. The growers produce THE best cranberries. I have tried and been very disappointed when I thought I would save a few pennies with an off brand. Not sure why there is such a marked difference. Ocean Spray must just be doing it better than everyone else. DO NOT substitute to save a few. Never worth it, and it certainly applies with cranberries. Get the best!

The cans are great, but I miss the texture and flavors of making fresh cranberry sauce with Ocean Spray Fresh berries, it's so easy! I wash them, add a half a cup of orange juice, sugar to taste (about 1 cup), peel and cut up a ripe pear and boil for about 15 min, while stirring. YUM! I really like to mix the fresh batch with the can - perfection!

OceanSpray Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce used to be my go-to cranberry sauce. However, for the past several years, I have been making homemade cranberry sauce. This year I decided to try the canned version again -- and, I was extremely disheartened at how much the product had gone downhill. Not only were there hardly any whole berries in the sauce, the sauce was so diluted that you could almost see through it. When I put it in a serving dish -- it almost turned to a complete liquid. Definitely will go back to homemade and not buy this canned version ever again. So disappointed!
