In a little over a year I have had three different vivoactive 5s because they either stopped working or would no longer charge. I don’t use the watch for anything it can’t handle. The only good thing is that I got replacements due to the year warranty. At times I wish I just stuck with my Apple Watch because I had it for about five years and had no issues, I decided to switch to garmin because I heard such great things, but so far that isn’t true. A watch should be able to last more than 8 months.

I had a Vivoactive 3 the past few years. I liked that product but it finally stopped working and the battery life was down to less than 12 hours. So I purchased a new Vivoactive 5 because it seemed to have all the same features but better battery and display. I have been very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend this watch. I use most of the activity features as well as the general health monitoring. Works great!

I seriously can’t say enough good things about this smartwatch. The color is gorgeous (I get compliments all the time), and the battery life blows me away – I go days without needing to charge it, even with regular use. It’s super comfortable to wear, and I love how easy it is to navigate. From fitness tracking to notifications, it just works seamlessly. Whether I’m working out or just going about my day, the vívoactive® 5 keeps up and then some. If you’re on the fence – just go for it. You won’t regret it!

I bought this watch a few weeks ago, and am very happy with it. It is very stylish and comfortable, and has so many features that I have yet to discover! It records my workouts well;h although it records treadmill steps accurately only- definitely doesn’t add up the miles correctly- I guess I get that with GPS. Also, I have to walk around outside first to find the GPS before starting an indoor treadmill workout. Those “issues” aren’t worth lowering my rating. I previously had a Vivomove HR, which I loved, but the screen became unreadable after 4 years. I think the Amoled screen will be better, and all the features are awesome. Overall, a really great watch!

I’ve had this watch for about 3 weeks and it’s a HUGE upgrade from the Suunto watch I had been using previously. It’s intuitively designed, light (some reviewers have described it as “cheap” feeling, but I see this as a feature, not a bug), and it’s quite responsive to activity. I barely notice it when it’s on and it seems to track sleep and activity quite well. I gave it a 9 strictly because it doesn’t seem to hang too well in the water, and I’d love to see a surf activity added, but it’s not a deal breaker. Also, the strength training mode is a little wonky, but there are workarounds for that. Overall, great experience so far, and I’m definitely happy I opted for this low profile, fitness focused watch in place of an Apple Watch. If you’re looking for something more triathlon or sport focused I’d upgrade to one of Garmin’s more premium watches but for daily wear I’m very happy with it!

I bought this watch about a month ago. I switched from an Apple Watch and I love the watch. If you are athletic or are prioritizing a fitness watch over smart watch then this watch is for you. Pro: sleep tracks, very accurate for running and cardio activities with stats tracking which is great. Cons: can’t reply to messages or make phone calls. Strength training activity isn’t as accurate as I would like.

I bought this a few weeks ago. It’s a pretty nice watch, has cool features and is comfortable to wear. The biggest flaw is that it constantly disconnects/connects to my phone. I could have my phone just in my pocket, or on my nightstand next to the bed and it still randomly disconnects/connets.

I’ve been using this for almost a month and no complaints here! Love the look (round face) over my previous watch for sure. Main reason for switching was for tracking my workouts plus more. Does everything my previous watch did and price point is definitely better. In love and won’t go back!!

I love this watch! It really is helping me on my fitness and strengthening journey. I am disabled, and this helps me stay on track and build my strength without injuring myself. It helps keep me motivated, and I love being able to see my progress. Thank you, Garmin! :) :)

Had it a while, but just got into using it. LOVE the amoled display. . so clear. Love the Manual is easy to understand. It does everything I need it to do and more. I really appreciated the out of warranty exchange program. Garmin products and customer service are second to none.
