when i saw this fridge in the store and tested it out, i knew i needed to buy it. the problem was that i found out that this fridge lacks the sabbath mode feature, a feature that ironically enough, is found on the cheaper models. the lack of this feature caused me to look elsewhere for a new fridge. i ended up buying the samsung fridge with the sabbath mode feature. this would have been a great fridge had it not lacked that feature.

Only had this fridge for the weekend, but so far I love it!! Hub is great. Love that I can ask Alexa to play christmas music without lifting a finger. One question though. Is the water from dispenser super slow for everyone? Ours is sooooooo sloooooow that it isn't even worth waiting for it. Is that a model issue? Or maybe just ours? The line is fine and not pressed against the wall. My hubby checked the filter etc, but such a slow trickle from water dispenser.

we purchased this fridge in sept 2020 for our new home and absolutely loved the family hub features with the touchscreen and we listen to music most of our day and this was great until......2 monts later the screen started to be unresponsive and the reset button worked sometimes but now we cannot use the touchscreen at all after 2 months of owning this fridge, spent alot of money on this thing and its a brick that holds food. it does have a cool display but cannot use it at this time, we scheduled a service repair but will see how that goes. really hope this works out for us.

The only time it makes noise is when we play Pandora on it, so cool! Did not realize it had quality speakers as well as screen! Surprised my wife with it and she loves the home hub features, something she would not splurge for herself. Not a single complaint from me, except that Bixby will not agree to be my girlfriend, lol.

I love that it is counter depth and it has so much space inside. I also love the family hub on the outside door. You can do just about everything on the outside of the fridge. So glad I chose this appliance!

Beside the performance the added feature of the computer on the outside appears to be a great utilization of the empty space . Space allocation appears to be well distributed . I try to be fair and balanced in my reviews, overall at this point my impressions are generally favorable despite some of the negative issues. I suspect I will learn to accommodate these issues because the positives are very good. Pros: Initial set up to Wi-Fi very simple, that being said, multiple accounts for individual users need to be created on different apps to get full utilization of Family Hub. Rapid freeze and rapid cool work very well. Interior layout well thought out and engineered, very efficient use of space. Appears very solidly constructed. Superb fit and finish, quality materials used throughout. Customer service and professionalism of installers was unparalleled, there was an issue with a power failure, it was dealt with no fuss. Cons: Touchscreen very slow to respond. Non-intuitive interface, 82-year-old mother who uses iOS had great difficulty understanding simple functions. Bixby interaction with non-Samsung ecosystem very limited ie; ingredient list cannot be transferred to a shopping list for a different application such as Instacart - small selection of additional apps. Icemaker works very slowly. Icemaker capacity very limited. No ability to actually monitor interior temperatures. So I added an external wireless remote monitor for the refrigerator and freezer. Interior camera view very limited. Camera tagging of food unnecessarily complex, if items are moved in the refrigerator, tagging is useless. Perhaps in a later firmware update these issues will be addressed.

Pandora I must say is my favorite!!! The only drawback is the ice maker is really slow and we run out of ice being a family of 6.

Plus we figured if we were going to spend money on a fridge, we might as well make it a fun purchase! Love the ability to stream music while eating in the kitchen, connect to the fridge from our phone with the app, and use the whiteboard and memo features!
