Luv Creami

I LOVE Creami's I have the five choice machine that I've had for 2 years and when I saw the seven recipe one at Sam's on sale I splurged and bought it. I love being able to make Dole Whips in a variety of flavors as I buy the Dole whip powder online. I also love making a guacamole type creami in the summer it is so refreshing I just cut up three to four avocados depending on the size and the little cubes, then I add a couple of tablespoons of sour cream and then I'll add some salsa. We blend it on the soft ice cream speed and after we've spun it we will add some fresh cilantro and do it on a remix. There's a Facebook page that is from a website called tasty traveler and there must be hundreds of different ideas and recipes posted there. And for those of you who have wear the gear has broken or shared itself major reason that happens is one that there was too much water base in the creamy container, or that the chunks of fruit etc were too large, that even though below the line if the mixture is slanted that can cause the blades to shave also when they say that it your freezer should be it seven below or seven degrees, all the people on the Facebook page and I will tell you that get your product out of the freezer and let it sit for maybe 20 minutes on your counter or put some warm water around your container of course with the lid on and do that cuz that your freezer is just too hard but ninja is pretty good at helping people I have not had a problem with my original machine and it's over 2 years old and I expect years of use with the one I have now also I think Walmart has some of the empty containers for for I think it was $17. Good luck have fun and there are so many great recipes especially for those that are diabetics or doing low carb just some really

Delicious and healthy

Not the best active photo but it’s what I had. Family bought this for me last year and thought I would not use it even though I wanted healthy ice cream. Man do I use it over the summer to make great protein ice creams and açaí bowls. Buy extra containers to keep plenty on hand. Easy to use, clean but does is loud and takes up space. However I would recommend buying one to all.

A daily staple for smoothie bowls and lactose-free

The Ninja CREAMi is one of the most used appliances in my kitchen. I use it almost daily for smoothie bowls, and it’s been a game changer for making custom ice cream at home. Being able to make completely lactose-free ice cream in so many varieties is huge, especially since that’s usually very hard to find with good texture. What really sets it apart is how creamy and smooth everything turns out from a fully frozen base. Smoothie bowls come out thick and spoonable, and the ice cream settings give a true ice-cream texture, not icy or grainy. I also love the flexibility — from healthier options to more indulgent treats, it handles everything well. It’s easy to use once you get the hang of freezing the base ahead of time, and the results are consistently worth it. If you like smoothie bowls or need dairy-free or lactose-free frozen desserts, this machine is absolutely worth it.

Poorest Design Ever to SAFELY CLEAN

This is the single POOREST DESIGN APPLIANCE EVER. ANYBODY who has one, after you've used it a couple times, shine a flashlight into the bottom side of the lid, I can guaranty there will ice cream, mix ins and MOLD inside. It is 95% IMPOSSIBLE to clean out. The 3 little springs that operate the blade release mechanism will be covered and filled with food material and mold. When I contacted Ninja, their answer was, and I quote, " There is not a Cleaning Solution Fix for this. We appreciate your input and comments and will pass them on for future consideration. YouTube is full of videos concerning this issue. The next newest version, Ninja Addressed this issue in the lid. Instead of the Plastic being transparent, the plastic is now BLACK and non transparent. I washed/rinsed and used a Industrial Kitchen Cleaner for 45 minutes and could not get the food matter and mold out of the inside of the lid. And it was rinsed after every use as per the User Manual. Your first clue that it isn't clean, You can smell it.

Beware-Faulty product with poor customer 'support'

Bought this and it broke in 2 weeks. Worked great on the first 6~ pints on the 7th~, which was half filled, It had spun up fine initially, began the remix, and it was taking a long time. Cancelled it and it pinched itself into the pint and eventually it released. Opened the pint to a puff a smoke, melted metal, and stripped blades. The prod itself had new metal from the blades welded to it. Called Ninja Customer Service and their response was to try and charge me an additional $50 for replacement parts. I've purchased 4 Ninja products and 2 have failed within a year. Think I'm out of this brand.

ninja creami

I ordered this online. Received it , opened it and product was just sitting in box no cardboard nothing. So I knew this had been a return. I wanted to exchange it at store of course they were out. The lady behind the counter tells me since I ordered online there was nothing they could do about it. So disappointed!

Broken Gears

Broke after about 8 uses ... I always follow the instruction manual and have the container filled at or below the "max fill" line. Tonight, the machine made a crazy noise at the beginning of the spin cycle and then everything seemed OK. But when I was eating the ice cream, I noticed little flecks of something in it. Upon closer inspection, I realized it was TINY SHARDS OF METAL. I cannot believe I had at least 3 bites before realizing it and am pretty sure I ate specs of metal. When I went to look at the machine, I saw that the blade on the lid had tread that was partially shaved down and a huge cut into the base. I don't have the slightest clue how bits from that made it into the ice cream since the gears are on the outside of the lid. I am mortified. I just registered the product and will be praying that their warranty will cover it. With only 8 uses, at $177 with tax, we're looking at $22 per pint NOT including ingredients.

Amazing product if you don't mind the wait

I really like this machine. I use Nature Valley chocolate cookies to substitute Oreos for a better quality cookies and cream ice cream. It is super simple to use. It has so many different variations of ice cream. You can make anything from sorbet to soft serve to a thicker, scoopable ice cream. And the possibilities are really endless with what you can make. My only catch with this is the fact that you have to fill the containers, put them in the freezer for 24 to 48 hours, then you can make your ice cream. Even then, the containers are so small that it doesn't make very much. If you don't freeze at least six containers at a time, it is not enough for a full family to eat ice cream, and you'll be waiting days for everybody to be disappointed, only getting a bite or two..
